Bishop will start Saturday vs. the Capitals.

Bishop allowed one goal on 10 shots after replacing Andrei Vasilevskiy in the Lightning’s loss in St. Louis on Thursday. Bishop has lost his last three starts while posting a 3.71 GAA and .880 SV% and will be in tough tonight vs. the Capitals. Bishop is 3-3-0 with a 3.42 GAA and .886 SV% on home-ice.

The Sabres have recalled Brendan Guhle from Prince George (WHL).

Guhle, 19, was a second round pick in 2015 and tonight he will make his NHL debut on Saturday. Guhle has registered five goals and two assists in 19 WHL games with Prince Albert and Prince George this season. Guhle will make his NHL debut on a pairing with Cody Franson.

With Corey Crawford sick, Darling will start Saturday vs. the Flyers.

Darling allowed two goals on 29 shots in the Blackhawks’ loss in Los Angeles last Saturday. Corey Crawford was scheduled to start, but he is out with an illness, so Darling will go in Philly. Darling is 4-0-1 with a 2.76 GAA and .909 SV% in five starts and two relief appearances.

Calvert (upper-body) is expected to be back in the Blue Jackets’ lineup on Saturday.

Calvert has missed the last five games with an upper-body injury, but will play tonight in Arizona. Calvert has posted two goals and one assist in 17 games this season. He will replace Markus Hannikainen.

Bobrovsky is expected to start Saturday in Arizona.

Bobrovsky surrendered just two goals on 20 shots in the Blue Jackets win in Colorado on Thursday. Bobrovsky has won three of his last four starts while posting a 1.72 GAA and .929 SV%. Bobrovsky has had a tremendous season so far and comes into Saturday with a 5-2-2 record, 2.05 GAA and .925 SV% on the road.

Andersen will start Saturday in Vancouver.

Andersen gave up two goals on 30 shots in the Maple Leafs’ win in Edmonton on Tuesday. Andersen was given Wednesday night off and missed Friday’s practice with an illness, but he will start tonight in Vancouver. Andersen won his first start vs. Vancouver and has gone 2-3-3 with a 3.10 GAA and .911 SV% in eight starts on the road.

Smith will start Saturday vs. the Blue Jackets.

Smith gave up four goals on 33 shots in the Coyotes’ loss to the Kings on Thursday. Smith will make his seventh straight start. He has won three of his previous six starts while posting a 2.71 GAA and .930 SV%. Tonight he will face a Blue Jackets team that has won three of their last four starts while averaging 3.50 goals per game.

Jones will start Friday vs. the Canadiens.

Jones allowed one goal on 27 shots in the Sharks’ win in Los Angeles on Wednesday. Jones won both games of the back-to-back and has now won four of his last five starts while allowing just six goals on 132 shots (.955 SV%). Jones is one of the hottest goalies in the NHL right now, but draws a stiff test with Carey Price and the Canadiens in town.

Dubnyk will start Friday in Calgary.

Dubnyk allowed three goals on 38 shots in the Wild’s shootout loss in St. Louis last Saturday. Darcy Kuemper started on Tuesday in Vancouver, so Dubnyk will start tonight in Calgary. He was given a much-needed week off and enters December having gone 4-5-1 with a 1.81 GAA, .942 SV% and one shutout. In his first start vs. Calgary this season, Dubnyk stopped 26 of 27 shots in a 1-0 loss.

Miller will start Saturday vs. the Maple Leafs.

Miller allowed three goals on 24 shots in the Canucks’ loss to the Ducks on Thursday. Miller has gone 3-2-0 with a 2.82 GAA and .907 SV% in his last five starts. Miller struggled in his first start against the Maple Leafs, allowing six goals on 42 shots in a 6-3 loss back in early November. Look elsewhere tonight.

Hutton will start Saturday vs. the Jets.

Hutton gave up four goals on 25 shots in the Blues’ loss in Washington on November 23rd. Tonight, Hutton will make his sixth start of the season. So far, he has gone 2-4-0 with a 2.98 GAA and .891 SV%. He’ll face a Jets team that has lost six of their last eight games, but rank 13th in the NHL in scoring (2.62 GF/PG).

Lundqvist will start Saturday vs. the Hurricanes.

Lundqvist allowed four goals on 34 shots in the Rangers’ loss in Buffalo on Thursday. Lundqvist was on the wrong end of some bad bounces in Buffalo, but has now lost four of his last six starts while posting a 3.04 GAA and .902 SV%. Today he faces the Hurricanes for the third time—he is 1-1-0 with a 2.52 GAA and .898 SV% in the first two meetings.

Crawford will start Saturday vs. the Flyers.

Crawford allowed three goals on 33 shots in the Blackhawks’ win over the Devils on Thursday. Crawford has won three straight starts while posting a 1.94 GAA and .944 SV%. Crawford has gone 5-5-0 with a 2.67 GAA and .913 SV% in 10 starts on the road this season—his his first start vs. Philly, he allowed four goals on 27 shots in a 7-4 win.

Lehner will start Saturday vs. the Bruins.

Lehner allowed one goal on six shots before leaving Tuesday’s game with a hip injury. Lehner got Thursday night off, but will be back in goal tonight vs. the Bruins. Lehner is just 1-3-2 with a 2.29 GAA and .920 SV% on home-ice this season and he allowed four goals on 42 shots in a losing effort in his first start vs. Boston.

Johnson will start for the ninth time in 11 games.

Johnson stopped all 39 shots that he faced in the Flames’ 3-0 shutout win over the Maple Leafs on Wednesday. Johnson finished November with a 7-3-0 record, 1.80 GAA, .939 SV% and three shutouts. One of those shutouts came against the Wild, who he will face tonight—he stopped all 27 shots he faced in a 1-0 win in Minnesota on November 15th.
