Simon has two assists in six games with the Penguins this season. During his time in the AHL, the 23-year-old has collected 17 points (4G / 13A) in 21 games.

Andersen allowed five goals on 30 shots in the Maple Leafs loss in Vegas on Sunday afternoon. The loss snapped a three-game winning streak for Andersen, who finished the 2017 calendar year at 20-11-1 with a 2.71 GAA, .920 SV% and three shutouts. He will be in tough in his first start of the season vs. the Lightning, but has been solid at the Air Canada Centre, going 9-4-0 in 13 games.

Bernier has a healthy scratch for three of the last four games and didn’t pick up a point in four games during his call-up. The veteran returns to the Sound Tigers, where he has 10 goals and four assists (14 points) in 21 games.

Beauvillier has struggled in his second NHL season, picking up just four goals and three assists (seven points) in 31 games this season. Beauvillier has some work to do, so he will head back to Bridgeport for the time being.

Fritz has 35 points (10G / 25 A) in 29 games with Bridgeport this season and could make his NHL debut this week. He will take Anthony Beauvillier’s spot on the Islanders roster.

Niederreiter is expected to miss his fifth straight game with an ankle injury but he will likely play on Thursday as long as he makes it through Wednesday’s practice unscathed. This will be a huge boon for the Wild, who are getting Zach Parise (back) in the lineup for the first time this season on Tuesday.

Mamin, 22, has 15 points (6G / 9A) in 23 games with the Thunderbirds this season. Mamin comes up likely to serve as an extra forward and isn’t expected to draw into the Panthers lineup.

After just one game with Iowa (AHL) and a few practices with the Wild, Parise is set to make his season debut on Tuesday. After missing the first 39 games of the season with a back injury, Parise comes into 2017-18 after picking up just 19 goals and 23 assists (42 points) in 69 games last year.

The Blue Jackets have a forward who is questionable for Tuesday due to an illness, so Dalpe comes up as an extra forward. He has seven points (1G / 6A) in 12 games with the Monsters but has failed to record a point in 10 games with the Blue Jackets.

With Sven Andrighetto likely out with a leg injury, Greer has been recalled and could play on Tuesday. Greer has one assist in six games with Colorado and has 10 points (6G / 4A) in 16 games with the Rampage.

Andrighetto suffered a leg injury on New Years Eve and is questionable for Tuesday’s game vs. the Jets. With Andrigetto likely out, A.J. Greer has been recalled from San Antonio (AHL).

Kruger is expected to miss his third straight game after missing Monday’s practice. Kruger will remain out of the lineup but still doesn’t have any fantasy value upon his return—he has just five points (1G / 4A) in 35 games this season.

Fleury has been a healthy scratch for six of the last seven games, but will draw back in on a pairing with Justin Faulk vs. the Capitals. Fleury has five assists, a minus-1 rating a six PIMS in 30 games this season.

Cehlarik has missed the last 16 games with a lower-body injury so he will return to Providence to get back up to speed. The 22-year-old has two points (1G / 1A) in five games with Boston and six points (3G / 3A) in six games with Providence.

Hellebuyck stopped all 35 shots that he faced in the Jets win in Edmonton on Sunday. Hellebuyck has won five of his last six starts while posting a 1.65 GAA, .949 SV% and two shutouts. As the calendar flips to 2018, Hellebuyck sits third in the NHL in wins (21) and eighth in both GAA (2.37) and SV% (.923 SV%).

Rask stopped all 25 shots that he faced in the Bruins shutout win in Ottawa on Saturday. Rask has won five in a row, posting a 0.98 GAA, .964 SV% in one shutout. Rask has been ridiculously good dating back to late-November, going 10-1-1 in his last 12 starts. Tonight he faces the Islanders for the second time this season—he stopped 30 of 31 shots in a 3-1 win in vs. the Isles on December 9th.
