Folin left Friday’s win over the Penguins with a knee injury, later revealed to be an MCL sprain. Folin will be sidelined for at least three weeks and will be replaced by Nate Prosser.

Beaulieu (neck) did not travel with the team to Detroit.
Beaulieu was hospitalized last week after being hit in the throat with a shot and was moved to IR. The Canadiens head out West after today’s game so don’t expect him to fly with the team, but could join them later in the trip.
Hudon (upper-body) will not play Saturday in Detroit.
Hudon was injured in a practice session on Friday and did not travel to Detroit with the team for Saturday’s game. Hudon has collected two assists in three games this season and is expected to be replaced by Daniel Carr in the lineup.
Howard will miss at least one week after suffering a groin injury on Friday.
Howard left early in the first period of Friday’s overtime win in New Jersey. Head coach Jeff Blashill said right after the game that he would miss at least one week and be placed on IR. With Howard out, Petr Mrazek claims the No.1 job back and Jared Coreau will come up from Grand Rapids (AHL).

Darling will likely start Saturday vs. the Kings.
Darling surrendered three goals on 27 shots in the Blackhawks’ win in Vancouver last Saturday. Corey Crawford started last night, so Darling is expected to go tonight vs. the Kings. Darling is 4-0-0 with a 2.94 GAA and .904 SV% in four starts and two relief appearances this season.

Niemi allowed two goals on 29 shots in the Stars’ win vs. Minnesota on Monday. Kari Lehtonen started on Wednesday, but Niemi will go tonight vs. the Canucks. Niemi has gone 4-1-1 with a 2.13 GAA and .932 SV% in six starts and one relief appearance on home ice.

Talbot allowed three goals on 28 shots in the Oilers’ win in Colorado on Wednesday. Talbot has won his last three starts while posting a 1.67 GAA, .946 SV% and one shutout. Tonight he is a must-start in Arizona against a struggling Coyotes team.

Dubnyk allowed one goal on 16 shots in the Wild’s win over the Jets on Wednesday. Dubnyk has gone 5-3-0 with a 1.52 GAA and .942 SV% on home ice this season. In his first start vs. the Penguins, he allowed two goals on 41 shots in a 4-2 win.

Gibson allowed three goals on 29 shots in the Ducks loss to the Kings on Sunday. He was given Tuesday night off, but will get back in goal this afternoon. Gibson is 4-3-0 with a 2.55 GAA and .915 SV% on home-ice this season and will be in tough vs. the visiting Blackhawks.

Pickard gave up two goals on 43 shots in Colorado’s win in Minnesota last Saturday. Semyon Varlamov started the last two games, but he is day-to-day with an upper-body injury, so Pickard will go tonight vs. the Canucks. Pickard has gone 4-1-0 with a 2.07 GAA and .931 SV% in five starts and one relief appearance this season.

Johnson stopped all 34 shots that he faced in the Flames’ shutout win in Columbus on Wednesday. Johnson has been great lately, winning four of his last six starts with a 1.20 GAA, .953 SV% and one shutout. Tonight he faces a Bruins team that has lost three of their last four.

Nilsson stopped 46 of 47 shots in the Sabres’ win over the Penguins last Saturday. It was a superb outing for Nilsson, who draws another tough assignment today in Washington. Nilsson is facing an average of 37 shots per game and carries a .951 SV% into tonight.

Fleury allowed four goals on 35 shots in the Penguins’ loss to the Rangers on Monday. Fleury has lost his last four starts and has a 3.36 GAA and .902 SV% in the month of November. In his first start vs. Minnesota, he allowed three goals on 43 shots in a 4-2 loss.

Dell allowed one goal on 33 shots in the Sharks’ loss in Carolina on November 15th. Dell has posted a 1.90 GAA and .932 SV% in three games this season and will make start No.4 tonight vs. the Islanders. The Isles come in having lost five of their last six.

Holtby allowed three goals on 21 shots in the Capitals’ win vs. St. Louis on Wednesday. Philipp Grubauer got the nod last night, but Holtby will go tonight in Toronto. Holtby has won four of his last five starts while posting a 1.79 GAA, .930 SV% and one shutout. The 27-year-old has gone 4-1-1 in six starts on the road this season.
