The Rangers are off until Friday, so they are likely sending Hellberg back to the AHL to save money and he should be called back up before Friday’s game. Nothing has changed on Henrik Lundqvist’s timetable.

Holtby allowed five goals on 32 shots in the Capitals’ loss in Anaheim on Sunday. After a lengthy winning streak, Holtby has come crashing back to earth losing three in a row with a 5.00 GAA and .821 SV%. Tonight he will face a Wild team that is also struggling—they’ve lost three of their last four.

Graovac, 23, has 10 points (7G / 3A) in 12 games with Iowa this season. He has appeared in 49 games with Minnesota this season and is expected to play No.50 tonight with Martin Hanzal sidelined with an illness.

Driedger, 22, is on the ice for the Senators morning skate and Craig Anderson is not. This suggests something is up with Anderson and Driedger will serve as Mike Condon’s backup tonight. Stay tuned.

Rinne allowed three goals on 34 shots in the Predators’ overtime loss to the Kings on Thursday. Despite Juuse Saros getting the win on Saturday, look for Rinne to be between the pipes tonight vs. the Jets. Rinne is 16-5-4 with a 2.37 GAA and .915 SV% on home ice this season.

His shoutout streak was snapped at three games, but was his fourth straight win and is expected to start tonight after getting Saturday night off. He stopped 25 of 26 shots in a 2-1 OT win in his first start vs. his former team


Pickard gave up four goals on 31 shots in Colorado’s loss to the Senators on Saturday. The loss snapped a brief two-game winning streak for Pickard, who has just 12 wins on the season. Tonight he’ll face the Coyotes for the third time this season—he is 1-1-0 with a 3.03 GAA and .882 SV% in the first two.
