Rinne was pulled after allowing four goals on 29 shots in the Predators loss in Pittsburgh last Thursday. Carter Hutton started on Saturday, but it looks like they’ll come back with Rinne tonight. The Finnish netminder has really struggled recently, losing three straight, being pulled twice and posting a 5.39 GAA and .839 SV%.

Hammond allowed three goals on 36 shots the Senators loss in Philadelphia on Saturday. Hammond has gone 2-2-0 with a 1.77 GAA, .936 SV% and one shutout in his last four starts. He draws a tough test tonight with the Penguins in town. Pittsburgh has won six in a row while averaging an absurd 5.17 goals per game.

The Bruins have recalled Colin Miller from Providence (AHL).

Miller, 23, has split his season between Boston and Providence. He has collected 15 points (3G / 12A) in 39 games with Boston and 12 points (4G / 8A) in 19 games with Providence. He will appear in his 40th NHL game of the season on Tuesday, replacing Zach Trotman.

The Bruins have sent Seth Griffith back to Providence (AHL).

Griffith had just two shots on goal while averaging 8:13 TOI in two games during his call-up. The 23-year-old returns to Providence, where he is tied for second in the AHL in scoring with 67 points (22G / 45A) in 51 games. His return to the AHL means that Jimmy Hayes will get back into the lineup on Tuesday.

The Blue Jackets have recalled Justin Falk from Lake Erie (AHL).

Falk has been a yo-yo for the Blue Jackets this season, being recalled and then sent back down numerous times over the last few weeks. He has four assists in 21 games with Columbus and seven points (2G / 5A) in 29 games with Lake Erie this season.

de Haan left Monday’s game with a lower-body injury and did not return.

de Haan played just 4:34 TOI before retiring to the dressing room with what appeared to be a knee injury. The Islanders blueline is already without Travis Hamonic, so losing de Haan for an extended period of time would be terrible for New York. With de Haan out, the Isles have recalled Scott Mayfield from Bridgeport (AHL).

Mayfield, 23, has recorded 12 points (5G / 7A) in 52 games with Bridgeport this season. He has appeared in three games with the Islanders this year and has eight career NHL games under his belt. He has been recalled because Calvin de Haan was injured in Monday’s win.

McDonagh left Monday's game with a hand injury and did not return.

McDonagh suffered the injury while blocking a shot in Monday’s win in Columbus. The Rangers did not have an update on his status after the game, but it appears as if he is in danger of missing the final three remaining games of the season. Expect a full update in the next 24 hours.

Schneider will face the Sabres on Tuesday.

Schneider stopped 33 of 35 shots in a loss in Tampa Bay in his return to the Devils crease on Saturday. It was a solid return for Schneider, who will start again tonight vs. the Sabres. Schneider has gone 2-0-0 with a 1.50 GAA and .944 SV% in his first two starts against Buffalo.

Darling will start Tuesday vs. the Coyotes.

Darling allowed four goals on 46 shots in the Blackhawks win over the Bruins on Sunday. Darling has won four of his last five starts while posting a 2.81 GAA and .910 SV%. Tonight he takes on a Coyotes team that has lost three of their last four, including last night. Darling is 5-2-1 wit ha 2.26 GAA and .927 SV% on home ice this season.

Reimer will start Tuesday in Minnesota.

Reimer allowed two goals on 30 shots in the Sharks win in Nashville on Saturday. Reimer has won his last two starts and is now 5-2-0 with a 1.85 GAA, .927 SV% and two shutouts in seven starts since joining the Sharks. Tonight he will take on a Wild team that is coming off of a tough week—they’ve lost three in a row while being outscored 11-5.
