

Rinne surrendered three goals on 40 shots in the Predators win over the Bruins on Monday. Juuse Saros started on Tuesday so there’s no surprise that Rinne will go tonight vs. the Golden Knights. The 35-year-old has won seven of his last eight games and comes in with 11 wins in 13 starts at Bridgestone Arena this season.

Gibson allowed three goals on 43 shots in the Ducks loss in Vegas on Tuesday. Gibson has now lost five of his last six starts and sits at 5-7-1 with a 2.77 GAA and .927 SV% in 14 starts at the Honda Center. He has a stiff test tonight against the visiting Wild, who have lost five of their last nine games (4-4-1).

Price allowed three goals on 37 shots in the Canadiens’ loss to Calgary on Thursday. After winning five in a row, Price has now lost his last two starts while allowing a combined seven goals on 67 shots (.896 SV%). Tonight he makes his eighth consecutive starts as he goes up against a struggling Oilers team that has given up 4.33 goals against per game since Cam Talbot got hurt.




Subban allowed three goals on 29 shots in the Golden Knights win over the Ducks on Tuesday. Subban has been really good since returning to the Golden Knights crease, posting a 2.37 GAA and .914 SV% in five starts and one relief appearance. Despite a stretch of strong goaltending, Subban runs into a stiff test tonight in Nashville as he goes head-to-head with his older brother.

Holtby allowed two goals on 39 shots in the Capitals win over the Blackhawks on Wednesday. Holtby has won four of his last five starts while posting a 2.41 GAA and .925 SV%. Tonight he will take on the Rangers for the first time this season and Holtby comes in at 9-4-0 with a 2.07 GAA and .937 SV% at the Capital One Arena.

Lehner allowed two goals on 37 shots in the Sabres’ win in Colorado on Tuesday. The win snapped a three-game losing streak for Lehner, who will make his 20th start of the season tonight. The 26-year-old has gone 3-6-1 with a 3.98 GAA and .878 SV% in 10 starts outside of Buffalo.

Kero appeared in just eight games with the Blackhawks this season, collecting just one goal and two assists while averaging just 11:26 TOI/GM. He returns to Rockford where he had 20 points (7G / 13A) in 28 games with last season.

Hinostroza has been great in Rockford this season, scoring nine goals with 13 assists (22 points) in 23 games. The 23-year-old has 14 points (6G/ 8A) in 56 career NHL games and will make his season debut tonight vs. the Sabres. The Blackhawks did not announce who he will replace in the lineup, but look for him to take Lance Bouma’ spot in the bottom-6.

Barkov picked up one assist in 12:12 TOI before leaving last night’s win over the Jets with an upper-body injury. Barkov has been all but ruled out of Saturday’s game but the Panthers are hopeful that he will play Monday vs. the Red Wings. Their optimism suggests that the injury is very minor so it looks like Barkov owners have dodged a bullet.

Howard turned aside 25 of 26 shots in the Red Wings win over the Jets on Tuesday. The win snapped a seven-game losing streak for the Red Wings and moved Howard to 9-8-4 on the season. The 33-year-old netminder has gone 5-5-3 with a 3.01 GAA and .902 SV% at the Red Wings new arena this season, but will be in tough this afternoon with the St. Louis Blues in town.

Crawford allowed four goals on 35 shots in the Blackhawks overtime loss to Dallas on November 30th. Crawford sustained a lower-body injury in that game and ended up missing the last three games. Despite originally being listed as doubtful for tonight’s game, Crawford is ready to go and draws a great matchup vs. the Sabres.

Reimer allowed four goals on 39 shots in the Panthers 6-4 win over the Jets on Thursday. Reimer has now given up at least three gaols in five straight appearances and seven of his last eight games, but it was enough to record his fifth win of 2017-18. Reimer is a better goalie than he’s shown so far this season, but the Panthers have some depth issues and they will be tested tonight with Aleksander Barkov out.

After tonight’s game, the Predators are off until Wednesday so they are sending Saros to Milwaukee to get him a few starts. The 22-year-old has gone 0-3-0 with a 3.53 GAA and .874 SV% in four games with Milwaukee this season.

The Predators continue to flip-flop Lindberg and Juuse Saros to get Saros some starts and Lindberg serves as Pekka Rinne’s backup.
