Dubnyk will start Thursday in Pittsburgh.

Dubnyk allowed one goal on 32 shots in the Wild’s loss in Colorado on Saturday. Dubnyk has been excellent in the early going, posting a 1.46 GAA and .952 SV% in nine starts. As good as Dubnyk has been, he is a risky start in Pittsburgh on Thursday. The Penguins are tied for sixth in scoring, averaging 3.08 goals per game.

Hutton will face his former team on Thursday.

Hutton allowed one goal on 21 shots in the Blues’ win over the Blue Jackets last Thursday. Hutton is 2-1-0 with a 2.00 GAA and .926 SV% in three starts and one relief appearance and tonight he will take on his former team in Nashville. The Predators are 2-0-2 in their last four games and sit at 4-5-3 on the season.

Rinne starts Thursday vs. the Blues.

Rinne allowed one goal on 34 shots in the Predators’ win over the Senators on Tuesday. Rinne has been great in his last four starts, going 2-0-2 with a 1.44 GAA and .948 SV%. Tonight he will take on the Blues on home-ice. Rinne has gone 2-1-1 with a 1.73 GAA and .942 SV% in four starts at Bridgestone Arena this season.

Elliott starts Thursday vs. the Stars.

Elliott allowed five goals on 39 shots in the Flames’ loss in Los Angeles last Saturday. Elliott’s season has been full of ups and downs already and right now he is riding a three-game losing streak, having allowed a combined 11 goals on 88 shots (.875 SV%). Elliott will face a Stars team that’s also on a three-game streak.

Domingue will start Thursday vs. the Jets.

Domingue allowed two goals on 27 shots in the Coyotes’ win in Colorado on Tuesday. Domingue has won three of his last four starts while registering a 2.64 GAA and .929 SV%. Domingue has improved his game and tonight he starts vs. the Jets on home ice—Domingue is 2-1-0 with a 2.29 GAA and .938 SV% in three starts at Gila River Arena.

Budaj was the first goalie off of the ice at the Kings morning skate.

Budaj stopped all 19 shots that he faced in the Kings’ 7-0 shutout win in Toronto on Tuesday. Budaj has now won three in a row and has posted back-to-back shutouts entering play in Montreal. Budaj played with the Habs from 2012-2014, so it will be a bit of a homecoming for the veteran netminder. Budaj has a 1.86 GAA and .919 SV% in 10 starts this season.

Halak will start Thursday in Tampa Bay.

Halak allowed two goals on 32 shots in the Islanders’ win over the Canucks on Monday. The win snapped a four-game losing streak for Halak, who has struggled for the first month of the season. The 31-year-old will make his second start of the season vs. Tampa Bay—in the first meeting, Halak was pulled after he gave up three goals on 25 shots in what ended up being a 6-1 loss.

Vasilevskiy will start Thursday vs. the Islanders.

Vasilevskiy allowed three goals on 31 shots in the Lightning’s loss to the Bruins last Thursday. Vasilevskiy opened the year with two straight wins, but has now dropped his last two games, brining him to .500 on the year. The young netminder has a strong 2.24 GAA and .922 SV% heading into tonight’s matchup with the 5-6-2 Islanders.

Jones will be in goal on Thursday in Florida.

Jones stopped all 24 shots that he faced in the Sharks’ shutout win in Washington on Tuesday. The win snapped a three-game losing streak for Jones, who has now won six games with a 2.33 GAA and .909 SV% in 12 starts. Tonight he draws a tough matchup in Florida—the Panthers are 15th in the NHL in goals for (2.69).

Reimer is expected to start Thursday vs. the Sharks.

Reimer allowed three goals on 34 shots in the Panthers’ win vs. the Devils last Thursday. Reimer has won each of his last two starts while posting a 2.42 GAA and .929 SV%. His last two starts went better than his first two starts and tonight he will play vs. the team he finished 2015-16 with. The Sharks are currently tied for 25th in scoring (2.31 G/PG).

Miller surrendered four goals on 32 shots in the Canucks’ loss in Brooklyn on Monday. Since winning his first start of the season, Miller has dropped six straight games while posting a 3.27 GAA and .897 SV%. Miller is a poor option given the limited offence in front of him—tonight he takes on a Red Wings team that is 19th in goal scoring (2.57 G/PG).

Howard will start Thursday vs. the Canucks.

Howard gave up two goals on 25 shots in the Red Wings’ shootout win in Philadelphia on Tuesday. Howard has been excellent this season, winning three of his first five starts while posting a 1.26 GAA and .958 SV%. On Thursday, Howard makes for an excellent option as he takes on the NHL’s lowest scoring team.

Fleury was the first goalie off of the ice at the Penguins morning skate.

Fleury allowed three goals on 27 shots in the Penguins’ loss in Los Angeles last Thursday. Matt Murray started the last two games, but the Penguins will go with Fleury tonight vs. the Wild. Fleury has won six of 10 starts while posting a 3.07 GAA and .908 SV%—tonight he faces a Wild team that is tied for eighth in scoring (3.00 G/PG).

Rask was the first goalie off of the ice at the Bruins morning skate.

Rask stopped all 32 shots that he faced in the Bruins’ shutout win over the Sabres on Monday. Zane McIntyre started on Tuesday, so they’ll go back to Rask tonight vs. the Blue Jackets. Rask has won four of his last five starts while posting a 1.77 GAA, .938 SV% ad two shutouts. He’s been impressive in the first month of the season and makes for a strong start tonight.

Ward was the first goalie off at the Hurricanes' morning skate.

Ward allowed two goals on 41 shots in the Hurricanes’ shootout loss in New Jersey. Ward has gone 1-0-2 with a 1.86 GAA and .940 SV% in his last three starts. The veteran netminder has improved over the last few starts and tonghthe draws a solid matchup vs. the Ducks—Anaheim is 6-5-3 while averaging 2.64 goals per game (16th in the NHL).

Gibson allowed a single goal on 22 shots in the Ducks’ win over the Coyotes last Friday. Jonathan Bernier started on Sunday, so they’ll go with Gibson tonight vs. the Flames. Gibson has alternated losses and wins in his last six starts and carries a .914 SV% into his second start vs. Columbus—he was pulled after allowing four goals on 32 shots in a 4-0 loss in the first meeting.

Price allowed two goals on 43 shots in the Canadiens’ win over the Bruins on Tuesday. Price has won all eight of his starts while posting a 1.63 GAA and .953 SV% to kick off 2016-17. Price is the clear No.1 fantasy netminder and is a must-start regardless of his matchup—Los Angeles is 17th in the league in scoring (2.62 G/PG).

Condon made an impressive first impression on his new team, stopping all 27 shots that he faced in a shutout win over Vancouver in his Senators debut last Thursday. With Craig Anderson starting yesterday, Condon will get his second start with Ottawa tonight vs. the Sabres. Buffalo comes in averaging the third fewest goals for in the NHL (2.08 GF/PG).

Lindholm will make his season debut on Wednesday vs. the Blue Jackets.

Lindholm has missed the first 13 games of the season due to a contract holdout, but will be in the lineup on Wednesday. Revered as one of the best young defensemen in the NHL, Lindholm will have a huge impact on the Ducks’ blueline. Lindholm had 10 goals and 18 assists (28 points) last year and will look to build on that this season.
