Holtby allowed two goals on 30 shots in the Capitals 4-2 win over the Senators on Tuesday. Holtby will start the first game of the Capitals’ back-to-back tonight in New Jersey. Holtby has won three of his last four starts while posting a 2.36 GAA and .913 SV%. He has faced the Devils three previous times this season, going 3-0-0 with a 2.61 GAA and .889 SV%.
Raanta stopped all five shots that he faced after replacing Henrik Lundqvist in the Rangers loss to the Sharks last Saturday.
