Brossoit will start Monday vs. Nashville.

Brossoit surrendered six goals on 27 shots in the Oilers loss in Columbus on March 4th. The 22-year-old netminder has gone 0-2-1 with a 2.93 GAA and .919 SV% in three career NHL starts, so he’ll look to notch his first career win tonight vs. the Predators. Nashville comes in having lost three of five.

Laurent Brossoit
The Red Wings have recalled Anthony Mantha from Grand Rapids (AHL).

Martha, 21, was the 20th overall pick in 2013 and has had a strong season with Grand Rapids. The 6-foot-5 winger has picked up 45 points (21G / 24 A) in 56 games after posting just 33 points in his first season with the Griffins. The Red Wings offence has been sputtering as of late, so an infusion of size and skill upfront might be exactly what they need.

Anthony Mantha
Bennett (upper-body) will not play on Monday.

Bennett will miss his second straight game with an upper-body injury that he suffered last Wednesday. With Bennett out, Ken Agostino will remain in the Flames lineup and likely in the top-6 like he was on Friday. Bennett remains day-to-day.

Sam Bennett
O’Reilly (foot) was a full participant in Monday’s practice; could play Wednesday vs. the Canadiens.

O’Reilly has been out for nearly one month due to a foot injury he suffered on February 19th. He was back on the Sabres’ top-line in practice this morning, which suggests he’ll return to the lineup vs. Montreal on Wednesday. The 25-year-old has 49 points (17G / 32A) in 59 games this season.

Ryan O'Reilly
Luongo will start Monday in Brooklyn.

Luongo allowed four goals on 26 shots, but walked away on the right side of a 5-4 shootout final against the Flyers on Saturday. Tonight, Luongo will make his fourth consecutive start—he has gone 2-1-0 with a 4.14 GAA and .857 SV% in his previous three outings. Luongo has gone 2-0-0 with a 1.44 GAA and .949 SV% vs. the Islanders this season.

Roberto Luongo
MacKenzie (undisclosed) did not skate on Monday; not expected to play vs. the Islanders.

MacKenzie recently returned from an upper-body injury, but it looks like he’ll come out of the lineup tonight with an undisclosed injury he is believed to have suffered in overtime on Saturday. With MacKenzie out, Quinton Howden or Shawn Thornton will return to the lineup.

Derek MacKenzie
Voracek (lower-body) will not play on Tuesday.

Voracek appeared on-track to return to the lineup vs. the Red Wings tomorrow, but he missed Monday’s practice and will be held out of the lineup for an eighth straight game. Tuesday is the first of a back-to-back, so it seems unlikely that he’ll return vs. the Blackhawks.

Jakub Voracek
Greiss will start Monday vs. the Panthers.

Greiss allowed three goals on 31 shots in the Islanders loss in Boston on Saturday. Since Jaroslav Halak went down, Greiss has gone 0-1-1 while allowing a combined six goals on 67 shots (.910 SV%). Tonight he takes on the Panthers on home ice, where he has gone 10-3-3 with a 2.14 GAA and .930 SV% this season.

Thomas Greiss
Ortio gets the nod vs. the Blues on Monday.

Ortio allowed three goals on 25 shots in the Flames loss to the Coyotes on Friday. Tonight he’ll make his fifth consecutive start—he has gone 2-1-1 with a 2.25 GAA and .914 SV% in his previous four outings. He draws a terrible matchup with the Blues in town. St. Louis comes in riding a six-game winning streak while averaging 4.33 goals per game.

Joni Ortio
Crawford will start Monday vs. the Kings.

Crawford surrendered four goals on 20 shots in the Blackhawks loss in Dallas on Friday. Crawford lost both of his starts on the Hawks’ brief two-game road-trip, allowing a combined six goals on 50 shots (.880 SV%). Crawford was victorious in his first start vs. the Kings and has gone 20-8-2 with a 1.74 GAA and .944 SV% on home ice this season.
