Antipin was stretchered off of the ice after absorbing a hit from Predators’ forward Scott Hartnell. Antipin will be sidelined for a good chunk of time and could miss the last week of the regular season.
Rasmussen, 25, was an undrafted free agent that signed with the Blackhawks last season. His firth season in North America wasn’t great, but he is tied for second on Rockford in scoring with 14 points (7G / 7A) in 22 games and he is expected to make his NHL debut on Tuesday.
Rasmussen, 24, did not get into the lineup during his recall, so he heads back to Rockford where he has 16 points (8G / 8A) in 44 games this season.
