Lehner was pulled after allowing three goals on 14 shots in the Sabres loss to the Rangers on Tuesday. Lehner has performed well on the road this season, going 3-4-2 with a 1.88 GAA and .943 SV% in nine starts in cities not named Buffalo. In his first start vs. the Canadiens, he stopped 33 of 35 in a 4-2 win.
Bobrovsky has been sidelined by a groin injury since January 21st, but will return to the crease tonight vs. the Penguins. Prior to getting injured, Bobrovsky had lost six of his last seven (1-4-2). Bobrovsky has gone 4-7-1 with a 3.06 GAA and .895 SV% on home ice this season, but is 2-0-0 with a 0.98 GAA and .963 SV% in two starts vs. Pittsburgh.
Greiss stopped all three shots that he faced after replacing an injured Jaroslav Halak in last night’s win over the Penguins. With Halak likely out for Wednesday’s game, look for Greiss to get the nod in Toronto. He has won his last two starts while stopping 57 of 62 shots (.919 SV%). He is a must-start tonight vs. a Maple Leafs team that has lost six consecutive games.
Halak stopped 31 of 32 shots before leaving Tuesday’s contest with under five minutes remaining in the third period. There is no word on how serious Halak’s injury is, but look for Thomas Greiss to get the nod on Wednesday. The Islanders are carrying three goalies, so a short-term injury wouldn’t handcuff the Isles.
Demers left Tuesday’s game after playing just 11:01 TOI and could miss the remainder of the regular season. The Stars are now down to five healthy defensemen on the roster with John Klingberg also day-to-day. Expect them to make a call-up prior to Friday’s game vs. the Blackhawks.

Allen lost his first two starts after returning from injury, but tonight he comes into play on a three-game winning streak while posting a 2.27 GAA and .936 SV%. Tonight he’ll make his third start vs. the Blackhawks—he has gone 1-1-0 with a 2.27 GAA and .926 SV% in the first two meetings of the season.
Pavelec gave up two goals on 31 shots in the Jets 2-1 loss to the Oilers on Sunday. It looks like Pavelec will make his third straight start—he has stopped 55 of 59 shots (.932 SV%) while going 1-1-0 in his last two outings. He draws a rough matchup vs. a Predators team that has won six of their last seven while averaging 3.86 goals per game.
Rinne allowed two goals on 36 shots in the Predators win in Colorado on Saturday. Rinne has won five of his last six starts while posting a 1.97 GAA, .941 SV% and one shutout. Rinne draws a fantastic matchup in Winnipeg this evening. The Jets have lost eight of their last 10, however, they have averaged 2.70 goals per game over that span.
Stralman was a late scratch on Tuesday when he did not come out for warmups. There is no word on what is ailing the veteran defenseman, but consider him day-to-day until more details are released. He will be replaced by Luke Witkowski, who was recalled from Syracuse (AHL) earlier today.
Reimer allowed three goals on 25 shots in the Sharks loss to the Canucks in his San Jose debut over the weekend. Tonight he faces an Oilers team that has won four of their last five games, but Reimer makes for decent start tonight.
Lehtonen allowed on goal on 24 shots in the Stars win in Ottawa on Sunday. He has won two in a row while stopping 41 of 44 shots (.932 SV%). Tonight, Lehtonen draws a strong matchup in Montreal. The Canadiens have lost four consecutive games and Lehtonen is an impressive 10-3-1 with a 2.75 GAA and .914 SV% on the road this year.
