Loov, 23, picked up two assists in four games with the Maple Leafs earlier in the season and has picked up 15 points (3G / 12A) in 53 games with the Marlies. Matt Hunwick is out for the rest of the season, so Loov has been recalled and is expected to be in the lineup on Wednesday.

Korpisalo allowed three goals on 36 shots in the Blue Jackets win over the Oilers on Friday. Curtis McElhinney started on Saturday and Sergei Bobrovsky (groin) isn’t quite ready to return, so Korpisalo goes tonight vs. Detroit. Korpisalo has won four of his last five starts while posting a 2.57 GAA and .911 SV%. The 21-year-old has played especially good on home ice, going 8-3-3 with a 2.42 GAA and .923 SV%.
Hammond allowed two goals on 25 shots in the Senators loss to the Stars on Sunday. Since taking over for an injured Craig Anderson, Hammond has gone 1-2-0 with a 2.03 GAA and .938 SV%. Tonight he faces the Hurricanes, who weakened their team at the trade deadline and come in having lost four of their last five games while averaging just 2.00 goals per game.
Pavelec gave up two goals on 31 shots in the Jets 2-1 loss to the Oilers on Sunday. It looks like Pavelec will make his third straight start—he has stopped 55 of 59 shots (.932 SV%) while going 1-1-0 in his last two outings. He draws a rough matchup vs. a Predators team that has won six of their last seven while averaging 3.86 goals per game.
Lehtonen allowed on goal on 24 shots in the Stars win in Ottawa on Sunday. He has won two in a row while stopping 41 of 44 shots (.932 SV%). Tonight, Lehtonen draws a strong matchup in Montreal. The Canadiens have lost four consecutive games and Lehtonen is an impressive 10-3-1 with a 2.75 GAA and .914 SV% on the road this year.
Eller missed Monday’s practice and is listed as a game-time decision for tonight’s meeting with Dallas. Monitor his status during pre-game warmups, but if he is unable to play look for Lucas Lessio to get into the lineup.
Galchenyuk came into Tuesday as questionable, but he will be in the lineup tonight vs. the Stars. Galchenyuk comes in on a hot streak, picking up seven goals in his last six games. Look for Galchenyuk to centre the top line with Max Pacioretty and Sven Andrighetto on his wings.
Sislo, 28, finds himself ranked fourth in the AHL in scoring, with 52 points (27G / 25A) in 54 games. Sislo has no points in four games with the Devils this season and has just one assist in 28 career NHL games.
Helgeson, 25, has seven points (2G / 5A) in 37 games with Albany this season and one assist in 12 games with the Devils. Damon Severson has been in and out of the lineup for the Devils recently, so look for Helgeson to replace him if he plays on Thursday.
Kosmachuk, 22, was a third round pick (70th overall) in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft. Kosmachuk has 27 points (14G / 13A) in 59 games with Manitoba and with Joel Armia out, Kosmachuk will make his NHL debut on Tuesday.
Scrivens allowed three goals on 31 shots in the Canadiens loss in Los Angeles last Thursday. Scrivens last three starts have not gone as planned—he has gone 0-3-0 with a 3.89 GAA and .866 SV% over that span. He draws a rough matchup this evening with the Stars in town. Dallas has lost four of their last six, but remain one of the highest scoring teams in the NHL.
Raanta struggled in Sunday’s loss to the Islanders, allowing five goals on 31 shots in a 6-4 defeat. Overall, Raanta has had a good season, going 7-5-2 with a 2.49 GAA and .909 SV%, but the Rangers will need him to step-up with Henrik Lundqvist sidelined for a bit. Tonight he draws a strong matchup in Buffalo against a team on the tail-end of a back-to-back set.
Zidlicky will come out of the lineup on Tuesday and is listed as day-to-day with an upper-body injury. With Zidlicky out, Ryan Pulock will return to the lineup. Zidlicky should be considered as questionable for Wednesday’s game in Toronto.
Halak allowed four goals on 26 shots in a crazy Islanders win over the Rangers on Sunday. Halak has won four of his last five starts while posting a 1.79 GAA, .937 SV% and one shutout. Tonight he faces a Penguins team that has won four of six and he comes in at 8-5-1 with a 2.15 GAA and .921 SV% on the road this season.
Bishop allowed three goals on 27 shots in the Lightning’s win over the Hurricanes last Friday. Bishop is riding a six-game winning streak, while posting a 1.48 GAA, .951 SV% and one shutout. Tonight he makes his fourth start of the season vs. the Bruins—he is 2-1-0 with a 2.01 GAA and .938 SV% in the first three meetings.
Quick surrendered three goals on 22 shots in the Kings loss to the Ducks on Saturday. Everyone is losing to Anaheim right now, so it was not a surprising result. Quick has won four of his last six starts while posting a rock-solid 2.01 GAA and .920 SV%. He draws a strong matchup vs. a Canucks team that has lost three of four.
Domingue allowed one goal on 33 shots in the Coyotes win over the Panthers on Saturday. The win snapped a seven-game losing streak for Domingue, who comes into play at 3-7-1 with a 3.08 GAA and .906 SV% on the road this season. Tonight he takes on an Avalanche team that has lost four of their last six games.
Vrbata has missed the last five games with an undisclosed injury, but is set to return tonight in Los Angeles. Vibrate has had a down-year, collecting just 12 goals and 12 assists (24 points) in 57 games.
