Johnson stopped 24 of 25 shots in the Sabres win in San Jose on February 26th. Robin Lehner has been starting the vast majority of recent games, but Johnson comes in having won his last two starts while stopping 50 of 55 shots (.909 SV%). Tonight, he faces the Maple Leafs for the second time this season. He allowed one goal on 24 shots in a shootout win over Toronto in mid-October.

Michalek has broken two fingers this season, the second one has kept him sidelined since January 22nd. Tonight he will make his Maple Leafs debut vs. the Sabres. The 31-year-old has 10 points (6G / 4A) in 32 games this season.

Sparks starts Monday vs. the Sabres.

Sparks allowed two goals on 22 shots in the Maple Leafs loss to the Wild last Thursday. Sparks has played well in two starts since the Maple Leafs traded James Reimer—he has stopped 46 of 50 shots (.920 SV%). Tonight he faces a Buffalo team that has fallen on hard times, losing five of their last seven contests.

Schneider will miss at least two weeks with an MCL sprain.

Schneider suffered the injury when he got his leg tangled up with the post during Friday’s loss in Dallas. Schneider will be re-evaluated in two weeks, which means he will likely miss more than two weeks. With Schneider out, the Devils turn to Keith Kinkaid as their No. 1 option.

Dubnyk leads the Wild onto the ice for warmups.

Dubnyk allowed two goals on 32 shots in the Wild’s win over the Sabres yesterday. Even with starting on Saturday the Wild will go back to Dubnyk tonight. He’ll be making his fifth consecutive start and comes in on a four-game winning streak, posting a 1.71 GAA and .933 SV% over that span.

Rozsival was a healthy scratch in the last two games, but will return to the lineup tonight vs. the Red Wings. Rozsival has one goal and five assists in 37 games this season. Christian Ehrhoff will come out of the lineup to make room for the veteran blueliner.

Datsyuk (illness) will not play on Sunday.

Because the Red Wings didn’t have a morning skate, the news on Datsyuk’s illness came late. With Datsyuk out, Dylan Larkin will move to the top-line and Teemu Pulkkinen will draw into the lineup. Datsyuk is day-to-day and should return be able to return on Tuesday in Columbus.

Lehtonen stopped 18 of 20 shots in the Stars win over the Devils on Friday. Lehtonen is now 17-8-1 with a 2.89 GAA and .906 SV% on the season, which includes a 9-3-1 record on the road. He draws a favourable matchup tonight vs. a Senators team that is coming off of a tough win over the Maple Leafs last night.

Schultz will make his Penguins debut on Sunday.

Schultz has been a healthy scratch for the first three games since being acquired from Edmonton. He has had a tough season, posting just 10 points (3G / 7A) with a minus-22 rating in 45 games with Edmonton. He will replace Derrick Pouliot on Sunday.

Murray is 2-2-1 with a 1.98 GAA and .933 SV% in the NHL this season and faces a Devils team that has lost seven of their last nine.

Mrazek starts Sunday in Chicago.

Mrazek surrendered five goals on 33 shots in the Red Wings 5-2 loss to the Blackhawks on Wednesday. He was hung out to dry for most of the evening and allowed five goals in a game for the third time in six starts. Mrazek is 13-6-1 with a 2.17 GAA and .930 SV% on the road this season.

de Haan (lower-body) will not play on Sunday.

de Haan will not play due to an lower-body injury for the sixth time in his last eight games. de Haan is listed as day-to-day and is questionable for the Islanders back-to-back on Tuesday and Wednesday. Brian Strait will replace de Haan in the lineup tonight.

Halak starts Sunday vs. the Rangers.

Halak allowed three goals on 26 shots in the Islanders loss in Edmonton last Sunday. Thomas Greiss started the first two games of the week, so the Islanders will turn to Halak tonight in New York. Halak is 2-0-0 with a 0.96 GAA and .971 SV% vs. the Rangers this season.
