Raanta allowed two goals on 34 shots in the Rangers win in Washington on Friday night. Raanta has won three straight games while posting a 1.67 GAA and .949 SV%. Today he starts vs. the Islanders at Madison Square Garden, where he is 4-2-1 with a 1.96 GAA and .924 SV% this season.


Bishop stopped 33 of 34 shots in the Lightning’s win in Ottawa on Thursday. Bishop has won five straight starts while posting a 1.20 GAA and .962 SV%. He has been red-hot and one of those wins came against the Hurricanes, who he’ll face again tonight—he stopped 29 of 31 shots in a 4-2 win that evening and makes for a strong start again tonight.

Rask allowed two goals on 27 shots in the Bruins win over the Blackhawks on Thursday. Rask has won five of his last six starts while posting a 2.00 GAA and .938 SV%. Tonight will be his third start vs. the Capitals—he has gone 0-2-0 with a 3.08 GAA and .898 SV% in their first two meetings. Washington is surprisingly 3-3-0 in their last six.

McElhinney allowed one goal on 28 shots in the Blue Jackets shootout loss to the Red Wings on February 23rd. McElhinney is 2-6-3 with a 3.10 GAA and .895 SV% on the season and tonight he faces a Flyers team that has won four of their last six games.

Luongo allowed three goals on 26 shots in the Panthers loss in Colorado last Thursday. Al Montoya got the nod on Saturday, so Florida will come back to Luongo tonight vs. the Bruins. He has gone 3-2-1 with a 2.03 GAA and .925 SV% in his last six outings and 0-2-0 with a 2.59 GAA and .907 SV% in his first two starts vs. Boston this year.

Montoya allowed one goal on four shots before leaving his last start (Feb. 28) with an injury. He missed the last two games, but returns tonight in Arizona. Montoya has gone 6-2-0 with a 2.03 GAA and .927 SV% on the road this season and draws a great matchup tonight—the Coyotes have lost seven in a row.


Quick allowed two goals on 15 shots in the Kings win over the Canadiens on Thursday. Quick has won four of his last five while posting a 1.81 GAA and .930 SV%. He’ll be making his fourth start of the season vs. the Ducks—the 30-year-old is 1-2-0 with a3.85 GAA and .871 SV% in the first three meetings between the California rivals.

Andersen turned aside 27 of 28 shots in the Ducks win in Arizona on Thursday. Andersen has won five in a row while posting a 1.79 GAA, .934 SV% and one shutout. Andersen has played very well this season, but has struggled a bit on the road—he has gone 8-7-3 with a 2.49 GAA and .915 SV% on the road.

Markstrom allowed three goals on 24 shots in the Canucks loss to the Islanders on Tuesday. Markstrom has lost his last three starts while posting a terrible 4.39 GAA and .857 SV%. The Canucks have had trouble in goal this season and tonight’s matchup poses problems for Markstrom. San Jose pushed three by Ryan Miller on Thursday and have won three in a row.

Karlsson will miss a second straight game with an undisclosed injury, which means that Michael Haley will remain in the lineup. Karlsson is day-to-day.

Rinne allowed five goals on 33 shots in the Predators OT loss to the Devils on Friday. The loss snapped a four-game winning streak for Rinne, who will start his fifth straight game today in Colorado. This will be his third start vs. the Avalanche—he has gone 0-2-0 with a 3.62 GAA and .863 SV% in the first two meetings.

Korpisalo allowed three goals on 36 shots in the Blue Jackets win over the Oilers last night. With Korpisalo having a busy night, the Blue Jackets could turn to Curtis McElhinney.

Hossa is progressing and was expected to play on Sunday, but he will be scratched tomorrow vs. Detroit, but appears to be on track to return Wednesday against the Blues.

Crawford allowed two goals on 33 shots in the Blackhawks win over the Red Wings on Wednesday. Scott Darling got the nod on Thursday, so they’ll go back to Crawford tonight vs. Detroit again. Crawford is 19-8-2 with a 1.77 GAA and .942 SV% in 29 starts on home ice this season.

Hudler missed Thursday’s game due to a visa issue but will play tonight in Arizona. He had no points, one shot and a minus-2 rating in 13:56 TOI in his Panthers’ debut on Tuesday.
