Josi (upper-body) is expected to return to the Predators lineup on Saturday.

Josi has missed the last four games with an upper-body injury, but it looks like he will play tonight vs. the Devils. Josi has had an excellent season, picking up 10 goals and 34 assists (44 points) in 60 games. Josi will replace Anthony Bitetto on the blueline and will skate with Ryan Ellis.

The Predators have signed Anthony Bitetto to a one-year deal worth $650K.

Bitetto has been in and out of the Predators lineup this season, but has appeared in 22 games, picking up just three points (1G / 2A). Nashville also signed Yannick Weber this morning, locking in their two depth defenseman for at least another season.

Bitetto is expected to draw onto the Predators’ blueline on Saturday.

Bitetto has split time between the AHL and NHL over the last two seasons, but it looks like he will be a full-time NHLer this season—even if it’s as a seventh defenseman. Bitetto had seven assists in 29 games with the Predators last season and tonight he will replace Alexei Emelin in the lineup.
