Rask allowed three goals on 29 shots in the Bruins win in Dallas on Saturday. Jonas Gustavsson got the nod on Monday, so expect the Bruins to go back to Rask tonight vs. the Penguins. The 28-year-old has gone 2-0-0 with a 1.00 GAA and .970 SV% in his first two starts against Pittsburgh this season.
With Marc Staal sidelined for Tuesday’s game, Skjei was recalled and played 22:17 in the Rangers’ loss in New Jersey. His return to the AHL, suggests that Staal will be good-to-go on Thursday. Skye returns to Hartford, where he has 22 points (3G / 19A) in 52 games this season.
Wideman, 26, was a fourth round pick (100th overall) in 2009. Wideman spent three years in the AHL, but landed a semi-permanent spot in the Senators’ lineup this season. He had 61 points (19G / 42A) in 75 AHL games last season, showcasing his offensive potential, but has picked up just nine points (5G / 4A) in 44 games with Ottawa this season.
Quick allowed one goal on 34 shots in the Kings OT win in Nashville on Saturday. The win snapped a brief two-game losing skid for Quick, who has gone 3-2-1 with a 2.22 GAA and .929 SV% in six starts this month. He played very well in his first start vs. the Flames, where he stopped 23 of 24 shots in a 4-1 win back on New Year’s Eve.
Hutton turned aside 29 of 32 shots in the Predators loss to the Stars on February 15th. Pekka Rinne started last night, so Hutton will go tonight in Toronto. Hutton is 6-2-2 with a 2.17 GAA and .922 SV% on the season and draws an excellent matchup vs. a Maple Leafs team that continues to tear their roster apart.
Lundqvist stopped all 22 shots that he faced in the Rangers’ shutout, OT win over the Red Wings on Sunday. Lundqvist has been superb since the All-Star break, going 6-2-0 with a 1.61 GAA and .934 SV% in his last eight starts. Tonight he faces the Devils for the fourth time—he is 1-1-1 with a 1.98 GAA and .922 SV% in the first three.
McElhinney stopped all four shots that he faced in the Blue Jackets loss to the Sabres last Friday. Tonight he will make his first start since January 2nd, that night he allowed four goals on 27 shots in a 5-4 shootout win vs. Washington. He is 1-5-0 with a 3.47 GAA and .885 SV% on the road this season.
Niemi allowed five goals on 41 shots in the Stars loss in Arizona on February 18th. Niemi is 3-2-0 with a 3.64 GAA and .873 SV% in his last five starts and tonight he will make his 35th start of the season. He comes in a 8-6-5 with a 2.92 GAA and .901 SV% on the road and faces a Jets team that has lost three straight.

Pickard is 4-3-1 with a 2.67 GAA and .918 SV% on the season and 1-1-0 with a 4.23 GAA and .879 SV% in his first two starts vs. San Jose.
Anderson allowed two goals on 31 shots in the Senators shootout win over the Red Wings on Saturday. Anderson has won three in a row while posting a 1.58 GAA and .951 SV% and tonight he’ll make his fifth straight start. The 34-year-old’s first start vs. the Oilers did not go well. He was pulled under 12 minutes in after allowing three goals on 10 shots in a 7-2 loss.
