


Vasilevskiy gave up four goals on 40 shots in the Lightning’s win over the Penguins on Thursday. Vasilevskiy’s numbers don’t say it, but he has arguably been the Lightning’s best player thus far. Tonight he makes his fifth straight start and he comes in at 3-1-0 with a 3.74 GAA and .900 SV%.

Dubnyk gave up two goals on 38 shots in the Wild’s win in Chicago on Thursday. It was a great game for Dubnyk but a rough one for the Wild, who lost Charlie Coyle, Nino Niederreiter and Marcus Foligno all in the same contest. The banged up Wild team will face a Columbus team that is averaging 2.75 goals per game.

Hellebuyck allowed two goals on 32 shots in the Jets’ win in Vancouver on Thursday. Hellebuyck has won each of his first two starts while turning aside 67 of 71 shots (.944 SV%). Tonight he will take on a quality Hurricanes team that has gotten off to a slow-start to 2017-18.

Murray allowed two goals on 22 shots in the Penguins win in Washington on Wednesday. Murray was given Thursday night off, so he’ll return to the crease tonight vs. the Panthers. Murray struggled in his first two starts of the season, but has won his last two starts while stopped 46 of 48 shots (.958 SV%).

Elliott allowed six goals on 31 shots in the Flyers’ 6-5 loss in Nashville on Tuesday. Despite the rough outing, Philadelphia will come back to Elliott tonight vs. the Capitals. Through his first three starts, the veteran has gone 2-1-0 with a 3.67 GAA and .876 SV%. Tonight he faces a Capitals team that is 3-1-1 with 4.00 goals for per game.

Mason surrendered six goals on 45 shots in the Jets’ loss in Calgary last Saturday. Connor Hellebuyck started the last two games, but Mason will start tonight vs. Carolina. His first two starts with the Jets have been terrible—Mason comes in having allowed a combined 11 goals on 65 shots (.831 SV%).


Domingue allowed three goals on 23 shots after replacing an injured Antti Raanta in the Coyotes loss to Detroit on Thursday. With Raanta day-to-day, look for Domingue to start tonight vs. the Bruins. Domingue has allowed 10 goals on 87 shots (.885 SV%) in one start and two relief appearances this season.

Craig Anderson started the first four games of the season, including last night, so Condon will make his season debut tonight in Edmonton. During a tough off-the-ice season for Anderson last year, Condon stepped up in a big way—posting a 2.48 GAA, .914 SV% and five shutouts, but is a risky spot-start option tonight vs. Connor McDavid.

Khudobin stopped all nine shots that he faced after replacing Tuukka Rask in the Bruins’ loss in Colorado on Wednesday. Tonight he will give Rask his first breather of the season as he starts the front-end of the Bruins’ weekend back-to-back. Khudobin was 7-6-1 with a 2.64 GAA and .904 SV% last season.





Getzlaf was a late scratch from Friday’s lineup with the same lower-body injury that cost him two games to start the season. Consider him day-to-day and questionable to play vs. the Sabres on Sunday.

Eberle was banged up in the Islanders practice on Thursday and missed Friday’s session as a result. After the skate, Eberle told reporters that he should be OK for the weekend games but monitor his status during today’s morning skate to be sure.

Despite taking Zach Parise’s spot in the top-6 to start the season, Niederreiter had no points in the first three games of the season before getting hurt on Thursday. This is a massive loss for the Wild, who also lost Charlie Coyle (right fibula fracture) on Thursday night.

Foligno dropped the mitts with Blackhawks’ forward John Hayden and was absolutely devastated by a right haymaker, fracturing a facial bone in the process. Foligno joins a long list of injured Wild forwards, but is only expected to miss a week or so.
