Gorges (upper-body) is expected to return to the lineup on Wednesday.

Gorges missed three games prior to the All-Star break, but is expected to be back in the lineup on Wednesday. Gorges has picked up just seven points (1G / 6A) in 45 games this season, so he is no where near the fantasy radar.

Paajarvi (upper-body) is expected to return to the Blues lineup on Tuesday.

Paajarvi has missed the last seven games with an upper-body injury, but is expected to return to the lineup on Tuesday. Paajarvi skated on the Blues’ second line on Monday, so expect him to play with Paul Stastny and Vladimir Tarasenko. He has just five points (2G / 3A) in 32 games this season.

Ramo will be in goal on Wednesday vs. the Hurricanes.

Ramo allowed two goals on 24 shots in the Flames loss to the Predators last Wednesday. Ramo will make his fifth consecutive start, but he has gone 1-3-0 with a 2.70 GAA and .912 SV% in his previous four. One of those starts came against the Hurricanes 11 days ago. That evening he was pulled after allowing three goals on 19 shots, but he will look for redemption against Carolina tonight.

Karri Ramo
Pickard will start Tuesday vs. the Blackhawks.

Pickard allowed three goals on 38 shots in Colorado’s win in Los Angeles last Wednesday. Pickard will start his third consecutive game, having allowed a combined seven goals on 58 shots (.879 SV%) in his first two starts. He will face a Blackhawks team that lost three of four before the All-Star break.

Calvin Pickard
Toews will not play Tuesday due to one-game suspension for skipping the All-Star Game.

Toews is battling an illness that kept him out of the All Star game and Monday’s practice. He will automatically miss Tuesday’s game due to a one-game suspension for missing the All-Star game but his status remains up in the air for the remainder of the week.

Jonathan Toews
Ovechkin will not play Tuesday due to one-game suspension for skipping the All-Star Game.

Ovechkin missed the All-Star game due to a nagging lower-body injury, so he has to serve a one-game suspension but is expected to return to the lineup on Thursday. With Ovechkin out, look for Stanislav Galiev to be back in the lineup tomorrow.

Alex Ovechkin
The Canadiens have recalled Sven Andrighetto from St. John’s (AHL).

Andrighetto has split his season between St. John’s and Montreal and has played well at both levels. In 26 games with the IceCaps, he has 10 goals and 13 assists (23 points) and has five points (4G / 1A) in 17 games with the Habs.
