Grubauer is expected to start Tuesday vs. the Panthers.

Grubauer stopped all 11 shots that he faced after replacing Braden Holtby in the Capitals loss to the Ranges on January 17th. Grubauer has not played a tonne this season, but has been great when call upon. Grubauer enters play at 5-3-1 with a 2.12 GAA and .925 SV% in eight starts and three relief appearances. He has gone 1-1-0 with a 1.99 GAA and .923 SV% in two games vs. the Panthers this season.

Philipp Grubauer
Montoya starts Tuesday in Washington.

Montoya allowed four goals on 24 shots in the Panthers loss to the Oilers on January 18th. With Roberto Luongo playing in the All-Star game, the Panthers will give him Tuesday night off in Washington. Montoya has lost two in a row while allowing six goals on 45 shots (.867 SV%), but has gone 1-0-1 with a 1.45 GAA and .938 SV% vs. the Capitals this season.

Al Montoya
Reimer will start Tuesday in Boston.

Reimer allowed five goals on 27 shots in the Maple Leafs loss in Florida last Tuesday. Reimer went 1-4-2 with a 2.42 GAA and .923 SV% in seven starts in January and will have a tough time finding the win column in Boston on Tuesday—the Bruins come in having won five of their last seven.

James Reimer
Mrazek is expected to start Wednesday in Tampa Bay.

Mrazek turned aside 27 of 29 shots in the Red Wings 4-2 win over the Islanders last Monday. Mrazek was excellent in January, going 7-1-1 with a 1.32 GAA, .952 SV% and two shutouts. Mrazek has vaulted himself into the Vezina Trophy conversation, ranking second in the NHL in SV% (.932), third in GAA (2.03), 10th in shutouts (3) and 13th in wins (18). He is a must-start despite drawing a tough matchup vs. the Lightning.

Petr Mrazek
The Penguins have recalled Scott Wilson from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (AHL).

Wilson has just one assist in five games with the Penguins this season, but is tied for the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton lead in points with 36 (22G / 14A) in 34 games. He is expected to play on the Penguins fourth line on Tuesday.

Scott Wilson
Kunitz (lower-body) will be a game-time decision on Tuesday.

Kunitz has missed the last three games with a lower-body injury, but he was on the ice for Monday’s practice and will be a game-time decision on Tuesday. Monitor Kunitz’s status during the morning skate, but we likely won’t know his official status until closer to game-time.

Chris Kunitz
Couturier (concussion) practiced on Monday; expected to return to the lineup on Tuesday.

Couturier has missed the last four games with a lower-body injury, but is expected to play on Tuesday. Prior to getting injury, Couturier collected six goals and eight assists (14 points) in his previous 14 games. His return will provide a nice offensive boost to the Flyers’ top-6.

Sean Couturier
The Senators have recalled Dave Dziurzynski from Binghamton (AHL).

Dziurzynski had three assists in 12 games with Senators earlier in the season and has 18 points (7G / 11A) in 31 games with Binghamton. He is expected to be back in the Sens’ lineup on Tuesday.

David Dziurzynski
Nash (leg) missed Monday’s practice; questionable for Tuesday in New Jersey.

Nash has missed the last two games with a bone bruise and his recovery is taking longer than expected. He missed Monday’s practice, which is not a good sign that he will be available for Tuesday’s game. Monitor his status during tomorrow’s game-day skate, but things don’t look positive.

Rick Nash
The Islanders have recalled J-F Berube from his conditioning stint with Bridgeport (AHL).

After missing three months with a lower-body injury, Berube went to Bridgeport on a conditioning stint, where he went 4-1-0 with a 1.25 GAA and .960 SV%. He had to be recalled because his conditioning stint was up, so he will likely be traded or put on waivers because the Islanders already have Jaroslav Halak and Thomas Greiss.

Jean-Francois Berube
The Devils recalled Joseph Blandisi from Albany (AHL).

Blandisi skated on the Devils top line on Monday and is expected to be there in Tuesday’s game with Mike Cammalleri back on IR. Blandisi has one goal and five assists in 11 games with the Devils and 21 points (7G / 14A) in 24 AHL games.
