Lack will be between the pipes on Saturday.

Lack allowed two goals on 32 shots in the Hurricanes win over the Capitals on Thursday. Lack has now won four of his last five starts while posting a 2.38 GAA and .925 SV%. Lack appears to be taking over as the Hurricanes starter, but tonight he faces the Predators on home ice, where he is an ugly 1-4-0 with a 3.25 GAA and .881 SV% on the season.

Eddie Lack
Johnson will start Saturday afternoon vs. the Red Wings.

Johnson allowed four goals on 42 shots in the Sabres loss in Washington on Wednesday. Linus Ullmark got the call on Thursday, so the Sabres will go back to Johnson today vs. Detroit. Johnson played very well in his previous start against the Red Wings, stopping 32 of 33 shots in the 2-1 win.

Chad Johnson
McElhinney starts Saturday vs. the Capitals.

McElhinney allowed three goals on 43 shots in the Blue Jackets win over the Stars on Tuesday. Yep, the Blue Jackets beat the Stars. Overall, McElhinney has a 3.27 GAA and .891 SV% on the season, so it will be difficult to trust him on most nights, especially tonight with the Capitals in town. He is 1-1-2 with a 2.90 GAA and .903 SV% on home ice.

Curtis McElhinney
Fleury is expected to start Saturday vs. the Islanders.

Fleury has missed the last eight games with a concussion, but it looks like he will return to the crease tonight vs. the Islanders. In his last outing, he allowed four goals on 34 shots in a loss to the Capitals. Overall, he has gone 13-10-2 with a 2.29 GAA and .925 SV% on the season and has arguably been the Penguins best player so far. Tonight he starts on home ice, where he is 7-5-1 with a 2.54 GAA and .916 SV% this season.

Marc-Andre Fleury
Talbot is expected to start vs. Arizona.

Talbot stopped 34 of 35 shots in the Oilers 1-0 loss to the Ducks on Thursday. It was a tough loss for Talbot, who played extremely well, and should get the nod today vs. the Coyotes. He has gone 2-3-1 with a 2.41 GAA and .934 SV% in December, clearly his best month as an Oiler. Today he starts on home ice where he has gone 3-5-0 with a 2.81 GAA and .911 SV% this season.

Cam Talbot
Domingue will likely start on Saturday afternoon.

Domingue allowed two goals on 37 shots in the Coyotes win over the Jets on Thursday. The win snapped a brief two-game losing streak for Domingue who has gone 3-2-1 with a2.53 GAA and .922 SV% since being recalled. Domingue has out played Anders Lindback and will likely start again today and draws a strong matchup against an Oilers team that has lost seven of their last eight.

Louis Domingue
Quick is expected to start on Saturday.

Quick allowed one goal on 24 shots in the Kings win over the Flames on Thursday. The victory extended Quick’s winning streak to four games; he’s posted a 1.50 GAA and .951 SV% over that span. Through the first three months of the season, Quick ranks second in the NHL in Wins (21), 11th in GAA (2.16) and 15th in SV% (.922). He has been rock solid and is a must-start today vs. Philly.

Jonathan Quick
Andersen will start Friday vs. the Canucks.

Andersen allowed three goals on 11 shots in the Ducks loss in the Islanders on December 21st. John Gibson has started the last four games, but Andersen will start the second game of the back-to-back. Andersen is 5-8-4 with a2.59 GAA and .911 SV% on the season and draws a strong matchup against the 14-15-9 Canucks.

Frederik Andersen
Markstrom will start Friday vs. the Ducks.

Markstrom allowed five goals on 38 shots in the Canucks loss to the Kings on Monday. The loss snapped a brief two-game winning streak for Markstrom, who is expected to make his fourth consecutive start. Markstrom comes in with a 2.61 GAA and .917 SV% on the year and draws a nice matchup vs. the Ducks.
