The Senators have recalled Matt Puempel from Binghamton (AHL).

Puempel, 22, has one goal in 11 games with the Senators this season, but has registered 24 points (13G / 11A) in 29 games with Binghamton. With Mike Hoffman and Kyle Turris questionable for Thursday’s game, Puempel is expected to be back in the lineup.

Matt Puempel
The Lightning suspended Jonathan Drouin indefinitely for failure to report to Wednesday's AHL game.

Drouin did not show up for Syracuse’s game on Wednesday and the Lightning have suspended the 20-year-old indefinitely. The Lightning will continue to try and trade Drouin for a fair price, so it looks like he has played his last game with Tampa or Syracuse.

Jonathan Drouin
The Rangers have signed Daniel Paille to a one-year, $575K contract.

Paille has one goal and three assists in 31 games with Rockford (AHL) this season. Paille has been signed to a two-way deal with the Rangers, but isn’t going to have any fantasy impact.

Daniel Paille
Reinhart left Wednesday's game with an upper-body injury and did not return.

Reinhart left after playing just 11:43 TOI in Wednesday’s loss in Colorado. Head coach Dan Bylsma did not have an update on Reinhart’s status after the game, so there is no word on the nature or severity of his injury.

Sam Reinhart
The Ducks sent Anton Khudobin to San Diego (AHL) on Wednesday.

Anton Khudobin was expected to serve as John Gibson’s backup for a second straight game, but Frederik Andersen was deemed healthy enough to dress, so Khudobin was reassigned. Khudobin has gone 4-4-1 with a 2.60 GAA and .911 SV% in nine games with San Diego.

Anton Khudobin
Anderson will be in goal vs. the Devils.

Anderson allowed three goals on 35 shots in the Senators shootout win in San Jose on Monday. Anderson has won three of his last four outings while registering a 2.65 GAA and .921 SV%. Thursday will be his fourth consecutive start and first against the Devils this season. New Jersey is really banged up, but Anderson comes in at 9-9-1 with a 3.24 GAA and .907 SV% on the road.

Craig Anderson
Kuemper is expected to start Thursday in Los Angeles.

Kuemper allowed two goals on 17 shots in the Wild’s loss to the Devils on January 10th. With Devan Dubnyk back, Kuemper has served as the backup for the last four games, but it looks like he will start on the second game of the Wild’s Wednesday-Thursday back-to-back. Kuemper comes in at 1-0-3 with a 2.24 GAA and .917 SV% on the road this season.

Darcy Kuemper
Schneider will start vs. the Senators on Thursday.

Schneider made 26 saves on 28 shots in the Devils win over Calgary on Tuesday. Schneider has won three of his last four starts while posting a 1.26 GAA and .954 SV%. He has been the rock for the Devils all season and they’ve needed him to be especially good as of late because of all of their injuries. On Thursday he faces a Senators team that he is 2-0-0 with a 1.95 GAA and .947 SV% against this season.

Cory Schneider
Reimer will be in goal vs. the Hurricanes on Thursday.

Reimer allowed two goals on 33 shots in the Maple Leafs win over the Flyers on Tuesday. It was an excellent performance against a hot team and it earned Reimer his fourth start in five games. Reimer, who is 3-4-3 on home ice, will make his second start vs. the Hurricanes. In the first meeting he turned aside 33 of 34 shots in a shootout win.

James Reimer
Ramo will be back between the pipes on Thursday.

Ramo allowed five goals on 18 shots in the Flames loss to the Sharks on January 11th. Jonas Hiller has started the last three games, but he loss on Tuesday in New Jersey, so Ramo will get back in there. So far, he is 2-2-0 with a 2.03 GAA and .926 SV% in January and he has a good chance to tack on another win on Thursday. The Blue Jackets are a below average team, but assess your other option before immediately rolling with Ramo.

Karri Ramo
Gorges (upper-body) will return to the Sabres lineup on Wednesday.

Gorges missed the last two games with an upper-body injury, but will return to the lineup tonight in Colorado. Gorges is not a legitimate fantasy option, having registered just seven points (1G / 6A) in 45 games this season.

Josh Gorges
Dubnyk will start Wednesday in Anaheim.

Dubnyk allowed two goals on 24 shots in the Wild’s loss in Nashville on Saturday. Dubnyk has lost three in a row while posting a 2.06 GAA and .918 SV%. The Wild are having a difficult time scoring as of late, making wins hard to come by for Dubnyk. Tonight he faces the Ducks for the third time this season—he is 1-1-0 with a 1.52 GAA and .917 SV% in the first two.

Devan Dubnyk
Vatanen (illness) will be in the lineup on Wednesday.

Vatanen missed Tuesday’s practice with an illness, but he will be in the lineup on Wednesday. Vatanen has not had as big of an offensive season as his owners would have liked—he comes in with 22 points (6G / 16A) in 45 games.
