Dubnyk starts Saturday in Tampa Bay.

Dubnyk stopped 33 of 34 shots in the Wild’s win in St. Louis on Thursday. Dubnyk went 5-3-0 with a 1.78 GAA and .942 SV% in December and with Darcy Kuemper out, Dubnyk will likely start nearly every game until Kuemper is healthy. Tonight he will face the Lightning for the second time—he stopped all 31 shot that he faced in a 1-0 shutout win in their first meeting.

Ramo starts Saturday in Colorado.

Ramo allowed three goals on 23 shots in the Flames loss to the Kings on Thursday. Ramo was 7-4-0 with a 2.27 GAA and .919 SV% in December, by far his best month of the season thus far. He has solidified the Flames net and he will make his 27th start of the season tonight. Ramo has gone 4-8-1 with a 2.86 GAA and .906 SV% on the road this season, tonight he goes in Colorado.

Jones will start Saturday vs. the Jets.

Jones allowed two goals on 19 shots in the Sharks win over the Flyers on Wednesday. Jone has won four of his last six starts and finished December at 4-5-2 with a 3.06 GAA and .889 SV% in December. Jones has had his struggles on home ice but tonight he faces a Jets team that has been terrible on the road, going 6-13-1 in their first 20 road games of the year.

Holtby, to no ones surprise, has won four straight games and finished December at 9-0-1 with a 1.69 GAA and .947 SV%. He has been simply outstanding through the first three months of the season and starts 2016 with a plus matchup vs. the Blue Jackets.

Rinne expected to start Saturday in Carolina.

Rinne allowed five goals on 32 shots in the Predators loss in Dallas on Thursday. Rinne hopes that January is better than December, when he went 5-6-2 with a 2.64 GAA and .902 SV%. Rinne has gone winless in his last eight starts on the road (0-6-2) while posting a 3.51 GAA and .874 SV%. He will start in Carolina, looking for his first road win since November 5th.

Niemi was the first goalie off the ice for the Stars.

Niemi allowed one goal on 34 shots in the Stars win vs. the Predators on Thursday. Niemi went 6-2-3 with a 1.74 GAA and .936 SV% in December and will start his 23rd game of the season tonight. Niemi has been excellent on home ice, but on the road he is 5-4-3 with a 2.48 GAA and .915 SV%. He faces a Devils team that has won three of four.

Allen allowed two goals on 28 shots in the Blues loss to the Wild on Thursday. Allen finished December at 7-5-0 with a 2.14 GAA and .922 SV%. Allen will make his second start of the season against the Maple Leafs—he had a tough time in his first game, allowing four goals on 29 shots in a 4-1 loss back in November.

Greiss starts Saturday in Pittsburgh.

Greiss made 42 saves on 43 shots in the Islanders win in Buffalo on Thursday. Griess has stepped up with Jaroslav Halak out, stopping 107 of 113 shots (.947 SV%) that he has faced in three consecutive starts. Tonight he draws a solid matchup against a Penguins team that has finally won three of their last five. Greiss is 6-2-0 with a 2.00 GAA and .939 SV% on the road.

Fleury will start Saturday vs. the Islanders.

Fleury has missed the last eight games with a concussion, but he will return to the crease tonight vs. the Islanders. In his last outing, he allowed four goals on 34 shots in a loss to the Capitals. Overall, he has gone 13-10-2 with a 2.29 GAA and .925 SV% on the season and has arguably been the Penguins best player so far. Tonight he starts on home ice, where he is 7-5-1 with a 2.54 GAA and .916 SV% this season.
