Gibson stopped all 21 shots that he faced in the Ducks shutout win over the Oilers on Thursday. Gibson has posted back-to-back shutouts, stopping all 35 shots that he’s faced and has won three consecutive. Frederik Andersen got the call on Friday, but it looks like they’ll go back to Gibson vs. the Jets—Winnipeg has won three of their last four.

Crawford will start on Sunday vs. the Senators.

Crawford gave up five goals on 37 shots but still walked away with the win in Arizona on Tuesday. Scott Darling got the call on Thursday, so they’ll go back to Crawford tonight vs. Ottawa. Crawford has gone 8-4-1 with a 2.00 GAA and .936 SV% in December and tonight he faces the Senators for the second time—he gave up four goals on 27 shots in a 4-3 OT loss on December 3rd.

Rinne allowed five goals on 32 shots in the Predators loss in Dallas on Thursday. Rinne hopes that January is better than December, when he went 5-6-2 with a 2.64 GAA and .902 SV%. Rinne has gone winless in his last eight starts on the road (0-6-2) while posting a 3.51 GAA and .874 SV%. He will start in Carolina, looking for his first road win since November 5th.

Lundqvist allowed two goals on 22 shots in the Rangers win in Tampa Bay on Wednesday. December was a tough month for Lundqvist, who went 4-5-1 with a 3.27 GAA and .892 SV%. He gets a fresh start as the calendar flips over to 2016, but it starts against the NHL’s hottest team. The Panthers come in having won seven in a row while averaging 3.57 goals per game over that span.

Allen allowed two goals on 28 shots in the Blues loss to the Wild on Thursday. Allen finished December at 7-5-0 with a 2.14 GAA and .922 SV%. Allen will make his second start of the season against the Maple Leafs—he had a tough time in his first game, allowing four goals on 29 shots in a 4-1 loss back in November.

Talbot stopped 34 of 35 shots in the Oilers 1-0 loss to the Ducks on Thursday. It was a tough loss for Talbot, who played extremely well, and should get the nod today vs. the Coyotes. He has gone 2-3-1 with a 2.41 GAA and .934 SV% in December, clearly his best month as an Oiler. Today he starts on home ice where he has gone 3-5-0 with a 2.81 GAA and .911 SV% this season.

Quick leads the Kings onto the ice for warmups.

Quick allowed one goal on 24 shots in the Kings win over the Flames on Thursday. The victory extended Quick’s winning streak to four games; he’s posted a 1.50 GAA and .951 SV% over that span. Through the first three months of the season, Quick ranks second in the NHL in Wins (21), 11th in GAA (2.16) and 15th in SV% (.922). He has been rock solid and is a must-start today vs. Philly.

Neuvirth allowed three goals on 32 shots in the Flyers win over the Hurricanes on December 15th. Neuvirth was expected to start Wednesday’s game, but missed it due to illness. However, he will get back in goal today in Los Angeles. Neuvirth is 3-3-1 with a 2.44 GAA and .927 SV% on the road this season.

Niemi allowed one goal on 34 shots in the Stars win vs. the Predators on Thursday. Niemi went 6-2-3 with a 1.74 GAA and .936 SV% in December and will start his 23rd game of the season tonight. Niemi has been excellent on home ice, but on the road he is 5-4-3 with a 2.48 GAA and .915 SV%. He faces a Devils team that has won three of four.

Domingue allowed two goals on 37 shots in the Coyotes win over the Jets on Thursday. The win snapped a brief two-game losing streak for Domingue who has gone 3-2-1 with a2.53 GAA and .922 SV% since being recalled. Domingue has out played Anders Lindback and will start again today and draws a strong matchup against an Oilers team that has lost seven of their last eight.
