Gibson was pulled after allowing three goals on 17 shots in the Ducks’ loss to the Hurricanes last Friday. It was his first rough outing since being called up, going 4-3-1 with a 1.74 GAA and .934 SV%. With Anton Khudobin now in San Diego (AHL), Gibson is here to stay and he makes for a great start tonight in Buffalo.

Markstrom stopped all five shots that he faced after replacing Ryan Miller in the Canucks blowout loss in Minnesota on Tuesday. Markstrom has gone 1-2-2 with a 2.87 GAA and .906 SV% in five starts and two relief appearances this season. The Canucks are reeling right now and Flyers team that has lost three of five.

Crawford allowed two goals on 26 shots in the Blackhawks loss to the Avalanche on Tuesday. The loss snapped a four-game winning streak for Crawford, who will face the streaking Oilers tonight. This will be Crawford’s third start against Edmonton, he has gone 2-0-0 with a 2.48 GAA and .932 SV% in their first two meetings.

Lehtonen was the first goalie off of the ice for the Stars.

Lehtonen made 34 saves on 35 shots in the Stars 5-1 win over Columbus on Tuesday. It was a fantastic outing for Lehtonen, who will start his second straight game tonight vs. the Flames. Lehtonen should make for a great start again tonight—Calgary has been winning recently, but have struggled on the road, going 4-9-2 this season.

Quick was the first goalie off at the Kings morning skate.

Quick allowed five goals on 21 shots in the Kings loss in Ottawa on Monday. The loss snapped a six game winning streak for Quick, who lost his first game since November 25th. Tonight Quick will face a struggling Canadiens team on the road—he has gone 6-3-1 with a 2.41 GAA and .917 SV% away from home this season.

Stoll will make his Wild debut on Thursday.

Stoll, who was claimed off of waivers from New York on Tuesday, will make his Wild debut against his former team. Stoll will replace Erik Haula and skate on the fourth line. He had one goal and two assists in 29 games before going on waivers.

Ruutu has been sidelined since October 16th, but will return to the Devils lineup on Thursday vs. the Panthers. He had no points while averaging 11:27 TOI in three games this season. Ruutu will skate on the fourth line with Stephen Gionta and Jordin Tootoo.

Johnson stopped 32 of 33 shots in the Sabres win in Detroit on Monday. Johnson was spectacular after allowing a combined eight goals in his previous two starts. Tonight Johnson will make his eighth start on home ice—he has gone 4-3-1 with a 2.26 GAA and .907 SV% in his previous seven starts and three relief appearances at First Niagara Center.

Lindback will start Thursday vs. the Blue Jackets.

Lindback allowed five goals on 33 shots in the Coyotes loss to Carolina on Saturday. With Mike Smith out for at least the next eight weeks, Lindback will continue to start tonight vs. the Blue Jackets. Lindback is 4-5-1 with a 2.92 GAA and .900 SV%—how he plays will determine how many starts he gets and if the Coyotes bring someone else in.

Schneider stopped all 25 shots that he faced in the Devils’ shutout win over the Sabres on Tuesday. It was Schneider’s second shutout of the season and moved him to 3-2-2 with a 2.25 GAA and .923 SV% in December. Tonight he will face the Panthers for the second time this season; he stopped 34 of 36 shots that he faced in a 4-2 win 11 days ago.

Mason was pulled after he allowed three goals on 10 shots in the Flyers loss to the Islanders on December 8th. Mason has allowed a combined seven goals on 44 shots (.841 SV%) in his last two starts, which led to Michal Neuvirth starting the last three games. Mason will face a Canucks team that has lost seven of their last nine games.

Condon stopped all six shots that he faced after replacing Dustin Tokarski in Tuesday’s loss to the Sharks. Condon has lost his last three starts while posting a 3.09 GAA and .873 SV%.
