The Stars have activated Kari Lehtonen (upper-body) from injured reserve.

Lehtonen missed the last three games with an upper-body injury, but has activated from IR and could start Thursday vs. the Canucks. Lehtonen has gone 9-1-0 with a 2.41 GAA and .921 SV% in 10 starts and one relief appearance this season.

The Maple Leafs will send Jonathan Bernier to Toronto (AHL) for a 10-day conditioning stint.

As soon as James Reimer is deemed healthy, Bernier will be sent to the Marlies for a 10-day conditioning stint. Bernier has struggled mightily this season, going 0-8-1 with a 3.28 GAA and .888 SV% this season. He will start a few games with the Marlies while trying to get his confidence back.

Jonathan Bernier
Sparks will start Wednesday in Winnipeg.

Sparks stopped all 24 shots that he faced in the Maple Leafs 2-0 win over the Oilers on Monday. Sparks became the first goalie in Maple Leafs’ history to post a shutout in his NHL debut and will get a second straight start tonight because of it. He had great AHL numbers, so Monday wasn’t a fluke, he should make for a solid start tonight vs. a Jets team that has lost three of their last four.

Garret Sparks
Tanguay (knee) is expected to be in the lineup on Thursday.

Tanguay has been sidelined since November 6th with a knee injury, but he is expected to return to the lineup on Thursday. The Avalanche could use a scoring forward in their top-6 right now, so Tanguay’s return is perfectly timed. He had six points (2G / 4A) in 14 games before getting injured.

Alex Tanguay
The Rangers have recalled Tanner Glass from Hartford (AHL).

Glass, who has no points in two games with the Rangers this season will get back into the lineup tonight with Emerson Etem out with an illness. Glass has five points (2G / 3A) in 17 games with Hartford this season.

Tanner Glass
Greene will have shoulder surgery on Thursday and is out indefinitely.

Greene has only appeared in three games this season and will miss a large portion of time with shoulder surgery. He will be placed on LTIR and the Kings will get some cap-relief until he is ready to return.

The Hurricanes recalled Ryan Murphy from Charlotte (AHL) on Tuesday.

Murphy, 22, had one goal and two assists in two games during his conditioning stint with Charlotte. He has been recalled and is expected to be in the lineup on Thursday. He has four assists in 17 games this season.

Ryan Murphy
Hellebuyck will start Wednesday vs. the Maple Leafs.

Hellebuyck stopped 14 of 15 shots that he faced in the Jets’ win in Minnesota last Friday. It was an easy NHL debut for the 22-year-old goaltending prospect. Michael Hutchinson has started three of the last four games and has allowed a combined 12 goals, so Hellebuyck will have a chance to become the Jets’ No. 1 temporary No. 1 with a strong game tonight. He draws a great matchup vs. a Maple Leafs team that has lost three of four while averaging 2.00 goals per game.

Connor Hellebuyck
Hellebuyck is in the starter's net this morning.

Halak will start Wednesday vs. the visiting Rangers.

Halak allowed two goals on 27 shots in the Islanders loss in Florida last Friday. Thomas Greiss started the last two games, but it will be Halak tonight vs. the Rangers. While New York’s 17-6-2 record looks intimidating, they are actually not that great offensively. They’re a terrible possession team and rank 26th in the NHL in shots per game (27.7), so Halak should make for a solid start tonight.

Jaroslav Halak
Michalek is out indefinitely with a fractured index finger.

Michalek left Tuesday's game after being hit in the hand by a shot. The Senators revealed this morning that he sustained a fractured right index finger and will be sidelined indefinitely. Expect him to be placed on IR and for the Senators to recall a forward. This could also open the door for Colin Greening to make his season debut.

Milan Michalek
Gibson will likely start on Wednesday with Andersen still out.

Gibson stopped all 25 shots that he faced in the Ducks shutout win over the Canucks on Monday. After back-to-back losses, Gibson responded with a stellar performance and should make his fourth consecutive start on Wednesday. He has posted a 1.82 GAA and .936 SV% since being recalled, so he can be trusted tonight vs. the Lightning who are 3-3-1 in their last seven.

John Gibson
Lundqvist will start Wednesday against the Islanders.

Lundqvist allowed three goals on 36 shots in the Rangers win over the Hurricanes on Monday. After two tough losses in which he allowed a combined nine goals, King Henrik got back in the win column, earning his 13th victory of the season, which is good for second in the NHL. Lundqvist ranks first in shots against and saves this season and the Rangers continue to win because of his .935 SV%.

Henrik Lundqvist
Quick leads the Kings onto the ice for warmups.

Quick allowed two goals on 22 shots in the Kings win over the Blackhawks on Saturday. Quick wrapped up November at 5-4-1 with a 2.45 GAA and .909 SV%. Those numbers are not nearly as good as what he did in October, but still serviceable. He will look to improve in December and it starts tonight vs. the Canucks. He has already lost to them this season, but they struggling right now and will be playing the tail-end of a back-to-back.
