Tokarski will be back in goal on Saturday vs. the Senators.

Tokarski allowed three goals on 29 shots in the Canadiens loss in Detroit. Tokarski played really well but allowed a couple of late goals. Tokarski has been an average NHL goaltender and he draws a tough matchup against a Senators team that is fourth in the NHL in goals; averaging 3.03 goals per game.

Dustin Tokarski
Halak will start Saturday in Columbus.

Halak allowed three goals on 46 shots in the Islanders win in Philadelphia on Tuesday. It was an impressive outing for the Isles’ netminder who has won two of three while allowing a combined seven goals on 109 shots (.936 SV%). He is a must-start tonight vs. the struggling Blue Jackets and their backup netminder.

Jaroslav Halak
Rask is expected to start Saturday vs. the Panthers.

Rask made 32 saves on 33 shots in the Bruins win in Montreal on Wednesday. Yep. Rask actually won against Montreal! He has won two in a row while stopping 49 of 50 shots (.980 SV%) and has won five of his last seven. Rask is playing really well right now and today he faces a Panthers team he beat back in October 30th.

Tuukka Rask
Ullmark starts Saturday vs. Los Angeles.

Ullmark allowed five goals on 31 shots in the Sabres loss in Vancouver on Monday. Chad Johnson has started three of the last four games, but Ullmark will go tonight vs. the Kings. Ullmark has lost six consecutive games while posting an ugly .893 SV% over that stretch. He’s been brutal lately and the Kings come in having won six in a row and have won the first two of their road trip.

Linus Ullmark
McElhinney will start Saturday vs. the Islanders.

McElhinney allowed five goals on 34 shots in the Blue Jackets loss in Winnipeg on Thursday. McElhinney is the Blue Jackets starter now and things didn’t get off to a great start. He isn’t a great option whenever he gets the nod and tonight he draws a rough matchup vs. the Islanders.

Curtis McElhinney
Hellebuyck leads the Jets onto the ice for warmups.

Hellebuyck allowed four goals on 29 shots in the Jets win over the Blue Jackets last night. He will make his first back-to-back start of his NHL career tonight in Chicago. Hellebuyck has won each of his first four starts while posting a 1.72 GAA and .939 SV%. He has been excellent but starting for the second straight night in Chicago is a risky fantasy setup.

Connor Hellebuyck
Quick gets the nod vs. the Penguins.

Quick allowed two goals on 23 shots in the Kings win in Columbus on Tuesday. Quick has won five straight games while posting a 1.75 GAA and .915 SV% and should make for a good start against a Penguins team that has lost four of their last six. Quick has one win vs. Pittsburgh this season and has gone 5-2-1 with a 2.16 GAA and .924 SV% on the road.

Jonathan Quick
Neuvirth will start again on Friday.

Neuvirth made 35 saves on 37 shots in the Flyers win over the Blues last night. He’ll start on back-to-back nights which is terrifying when you look at his matchup. Neuivrth leads the NHL in SV% (.938) and is third in GAA (1.99) but he will face a Stars team that leads the NHL with 21 wins and 3.50 goals per game.

Michal Neuvirth
Allen will be between the pipes on Saturday vs. Dallas.

Allen stopped 22 of 23 shots in the Blues win over the Coyotes on Tuesday. Brian Elliott started on Thursday but it will be Allen tonight vs. the Stars. It is a rough matchup, but the Stars are on the tailend of a back-to-back, which works in Allen’s favour. He is a reasonable start, but there are a lot of options.

Jake Allen
Jones will start Saturday vs. the Wild.

Jones allowed four goals on 20 shots in the Sharks loss in Edmonton on Wednesday. Jones has now lost four in a row, but he should be able to win tonight vs. a Minnesota team in their second game of a back-to-back. Jones still comes in with a 2.35 GAA and .916 SV% on the year and should turn things around soon.

Martin Jones
Holtby will start Saturday in Tampa Bay.

Holtby allowed two goals on 23 shots in the Capitals shootout win over the Red Wings on Tuesday. In the last month Holtby has won nine of his last 10 starts while posting a 1.87 GAA and .935 SV%. Holtby already has one win against the Lightning this season, tonight he will get another crack at them.

Braden Holtby
Niemi starts Friday vs. Philadelphia.

After replacing Kari Lehtonen on Tuesday, Niemi was granted the win despite not even facing a shot. Niemi has gone 5-1-2 with a 2.22 GAA and .912 SV% in his last seven starts plus Tuesday’s relief. Tonight he will take on a Flyers team who appears to be turning things around. They have gone 5-1-1 while averaging 3.14 goals per game over that span.

Antti Niemi
Lack will start Friday in Anaheim.

Lack allowed two goals on 12 shots after replacing Cam Ward in Tuesday’s loss in Dallas. Lack nearly led the Hurricanes to a come from behind win but his effort fell just short. Overall Lack is 1-6-1 with a 3.49 GAA and .863 SV% in his first season with the Hurricanes. Things definitely have not gone his way this season and tonight he will face a Ducks team that he is already 0-1-0 against this year.
