The Flyers have recalled Colin McDonald from Lehigh Valley (AHL).

McDonald has two assists in four games with Lehigh Valley this season and with Sam Gagner going down on Monday, McDonald has been recalled and could make his Flyers debut this week. He has 44 points (18G / 26A) in 140 NHL games.

Colin McDonald
Prince will be back in the Senators lineup on Tuesday.

Prince has been a healthy scratch in the last five games, but he will be back in the lineup on Tuesday in Dallas. Prince will skate on the second line and comes into tonight’s game with three assists in 11 games this season.

Shane Prince
Reimer left Tuesday's practice with an undisclosed injury.

Reimer was on the ice for about 25 minutes before heading to the dressing room following a brief discussion with the trainer. Reimer has been red-hot and if he were to miss time it would be devastating for the Leafs’ recent hot streak. Toronto doesn’t play until Saturday, so expect him to be reevaluated in the next few days.

James Reimer
Khudobin will be in goal on Tuesday vs. the Flames.

Khudobin stopped all 11 shots that he faced after replacing Frederik Andersen in the Ducks loss in Nashville last Tuesday. Khudobin has gone 3-3-0 with a 2.44 GAA and .917 SV% in six starts plus that relief appearance this season. He has been very up and down, but draws a strong matchup vs. an 8-12-1 Flames team that ranks 23rd in the NHL in scoring.

Anton Khudobin
Khudobin will likely start Tuesday vs. the Flames.

The Sharks will sign Dainius Zubrus to a one-year contract.

Zubrus has been with the Sharks on a tryout but finally signed this afternoon. The 37-year-old had four goals and 10 points in 74 games with the Devils last season. He has 584 career points (225G / 359A) in 1243 games, but will likely serve as a depth forward at this point in his career.

Dainius Zubrus
The Ducks have recalled John Gibson from San Diego (AHL).

Frederik Andersen is not expected to dress on Tuesday because of flu-like symptoms, so Gibson has recalled to serve as Anton Khudobin’s backup tonight vs. the Flames. The Ducks have a back-to-back on Tuesday and Wednesday, so there’s a chance that Gibson could make his season debut tomorrow in Arizona. The 22-year-old has gone 7-4-1 with a 2.63 GAA and .917 SV% in 13 games with San Diego this season.

John Gibson
Johnson (upper-body) could return on Wednesday vs. the Kings.

On Tuesday, Johnson centred the Lightning’s second line with Nikita Kucherov and Vladislav Namestnikov on his wings. After the practice session he said he is feeling good and optimistic that he will play on Wednesday. Monitor his status during the morning skate, but it looks like he will return after missing the last three games.

Tyler Johnson
Drouin (undisclosed) practiced on Tuesday; remains doubtful for Wednesday.

Drouin took part in practice on Tuesday, but said he is “not where [he] wants to be,” which suggests that he will not be in the lineup on Wednesday. Monitor his status during the morning skate, but all it looks like he will miss his fourth straight game.

Jonathan Drouin
Price will start on Wednesday in New York.

Price made 21 saves on 23 shots in Sunday’s win over the Islanders. Both of his starts since returning from injury have results in wins over the Islanders, showing he is back at 100 percent. Tonight he will make his third straight start and he is expected to go head-to-head with Henrik Lundqvist. In his first start vs. the Rangers, he registered a 25-save shutout in a 3-0 win.

Carey Price
Mrazek will start Wednesday vs. the Bruins.

Mrazek gave up two goals on 37 shots in the Red Wings win over the Kings last Friday. The win snapped a short two-game losing skid for Mrazek, who continues to play extremely well this season. Overall he is 6-4-1 with a 2.15 GAA and .935 SV% on the season, but tonight he faces the Bruins at home, where he is 2-1-1 with an impressive 1.43 GAA and .952 SV%.

Petr Mrazek
Gerbe (lower-body) has been placed on IR; expected to miss 4-6 weeks.

Gerbe was injured in Sunday’s game against the Kings and will miss at least one month with a lower-body injury. With Gerbe out, Chris Terry returned to the lineup on Monday. Expect the Hurricanes to recall a forward now that Gerbe has been placed on IR.
