Pavelec allowed four goals on 27 shots after replacing Michael Hutchinson in the Jets 7-0 loss in Nashville on Saturday. The Jets have been horrible as of late, losing six in a row. Pavelec has gone 1-3-0 with a 3.49 GAA and .875 SV% in four starts and two relief appearances in the month of November. He will face a Canucks team who is having their own struggles— they come in losers of six of the last seven.
Boll blocked a shot off of his foot on Tuesday and will miss at least the next seven days after he was placed on IR this afternoon. Look for him to miss at least three games. With Boll out, the Blue Jackets have recalled Josh Andernson from Lake Erie (AHL).
Gleason split last season between the Hurricanes and Capitals, but went unsigned this summer. The 32-year-old played with the Hurricanes from 2006-2014 and could end up signing with them again if this tryout goes well. Gleason has 17 goals and 125 assists (142 points) in 727 career NHL games.

Girgensons was held out of the lineup on Tuesday and is expected to miss at least the next two games with an undisclosed injury. With Girgensons out, look for Tim Schaller to remain in the lineup.

The wheels have fallen off recently, but he draws a good matchup tonight vs. a Winnipeg team that has lost six in a row while being outscored 24-10.
Holtby allowed two goals on 20 shots in the Capitals win in Philadelphia last Thursday. Philipp Grubauer started on Friday, so the Capitals turn back to Holtby tonight in Detroit. He faced the Red Wings last week, allowing a single (soft) goal on 27 shots in the 1-0 loss. Holtby has gone 3-2-0 with a 2.41 GAA and .894 SV% on the road.
