Condon allowed three goals on 26 shots in the Canadiens 4-3 OT win over the Canucks on Monday. In his first five starts after Carey Price got hurt, Condon didn’t allow more than two goals but has now given up three-plus goals in his last three starts. He draws a strong matchup against a Coyotes team that has lost their last two while being outscored 10-4.
Girgensons was held out of the lineup on Tuesday and is expected to miss at least the next two games with an undisclosed injury. With Girgensons out, look for Tim Schaller to remain in the lineup.
Theodore was recalled as a precaution in advance of Tuesday’s game. His services were not needed and Josh Manson (illness) should be healthy enough to play on Thursday, so they have sent Theodore back to San Diego.

Miller allowed four goals on 40 shots in Saturday’s 4-2 loss in Toronto. After a nice start to the season, Miller has now dropped five straight starts while positing an ugly 3.46 GAA and .877 SV%. The wheels have fallen off recently, but he draws a good matchup tonight vs. a Winnipeg team that has lost six in a row while being outscored 24-10.
Holtby allowed two goals on 20 shots in the Capitals win in Philadelphia last Thursday. Philipp Grubauer started on Friday, so the Capitals turn back to Holtby tonight in Detroit. He faced the Red Wings last week, allowing a single (soft) goal on 27 shots in the 1-0 loss. Holtby has gone 3-2-0 with a 2.41 GAA and .894 SV% on the road.
Maatta spent the night in the hospital and will remain in the hospital on Wednesday and undergo further evaluation. The Penguins were originally concerned about internal organ damage, but that doesn’t appear to be as big of a concern at this point.
Grenier has recorded seven points (2G / 5A) in 13 games with Utica this season. On Wednesday he will make his NHL debut because the Canucks want to get some size in the lineup vs. the heavy Jets. Grenier is 6-foot-5, 200 lbs. and is expected to debut on Vancouver’s second line.
Callahan is not expected to play on Thursday after suffering a lower-body injury on Tuesday. The Lightning are really banged up right now so look for them to recall another forward for Thursday’s game.

Shinkaruk played 9:35 TOI in his NHL debut on Monday. The Canucks wanted to get heavier for Wednesday’s game in Winnipeg so they swapped Shinkaruk for Alexandre Grenier.
Mrazek allowed three goals on 31 shots in the Red Wings loss in Boston on Saturday. The Red Wings continue to split games between their two netminder, which means that Mrazek will face Washington tonight. He has been great all season and posted a 38-save shutout vs. the Capitals last Tuesday.
Stolarz served as Steve Mason’s backup on Wednesday because Michal Neuvirth was dealing with an upper-body injury. With Neuvirth back at practice this morning, Stolarz has been sent back to Lehigh Valley.
