Pavelec was yanked after allowing four goals on 12 shots in the Jets loss in Minnesota on Tuesday. Head coach Paul Maurice said that the loss wasn’t on Pavelec, so he will go again tonight in Dallas. Pavelec has posted a 4-5-1 record, 2.69 GAA and .908 SV% this season. Pavelec will be in tough vs. the Stars.
Orpik left Tuesday’s game in Detroit but appears healthy enough to play tonight in Philadelphia. Orpik is listed as a game-time decision so monitor his status during the pre-game warmups.

Hiller has missed the last six games and will miss No. 7 tonight, but it appears as if he is only one week away from returning to the lineup. Howard allowed two goals on 22 shots in the Red Wings loss to the Stars last Sunday. In seven outings, Howard has only won three games in seven outings despite posting a 2.07 GAA and .932 SV%. Howard has gone 3-3-0 at home this season and it looks like he will face a Sharks team who have lost five of their last seven.
Poulin has yet play a game this season in the NHL or AHL but he was treaded to Calgary this morning and will report to Stockton. Poulin was acquired because Jon Gillies was injured.
Umberger will miss his second straight game tonight and is now expected to miss the next week or two with a lower-body ailment. With Umberger out, look for Vincent Lecavalier to play more regularly.

Tonight he will face the Sabres for the second time this season, in the first meeting he stopped 24 of 26 shots in a 3-2 win.
Lundqvist stopped all 33 shots that he faced in the Rangers 3-0 shutout win over the Hurricanes. Lundqvist has now won four straight games while posting an unreal 1.00 GAA and .967 SV%. He is red-hot right now but runs into Jake Allen and the Blues, who are equally hot.
Krug missed Wednesday’s practice for “rest” reasons, but is still listed as a game-time decision for tonight’s contest. Krug has registered 10 assists in 14 games this season.
Seidenberg underwent back surgery in late-September and missed the first 14 games of the season. Seidenberg had three goals and 11 assists (14 points) in 82 games last season. He is not a great fantasy asset, but will definitely help the Bruins out on the backend.

Michal Neuvirth started the last four games, but the Flyers will go back to their No. 1 tonight vs. the Capitals. Mason has a 3.34 GAA and .902 SV% in eight starts this season. He is an extremely risky start tonight with Alex Ovehckin an the Capitals rolling into town.
Medvedev has missed the last five games with an upper-body injury, but he will replace Brandon Manning in the lineup tonight. Medvedev will play on the top pair with Mark Streit, he has one assist and a minus-1 rating in 10 games this season.
