Smith stopped all 22 shots that he faced in the Coyotes’ shutout win over the Avalanche on Monday. Louis Domingue started on Tuesday, but they’ll go right back to Smith tonight vs. the Red Wings. Smith had an impressive 37-save performance in a 4-1 win in his first start vs. Detroit.

Talbot allowed two goals on 24 shots in the Oilers’ win over the Stars on Tuesday. The win snapped a three-game losing streak for Talbot, who will play his league-high 63rd game tonight. He will face a Bruins team that has won four in a row and a team he made 33 saves in a 4-3 win against in January.

Miller allowed five goals on 42 shots in the Canucks’ loss to Boston on Monday. Miller has lost four in a row while allowing a combined 13 goals on 155 shots (.916 SV%). Tonight he faces the Stars for the third time this season—he is 1-1-0 with a 3.00 GAA and .878 SV% in the first two.

Quick allowed two goals on 25 shots in the Kings loss to the Blues on Monday. Ben Bishop started on Tuesday, but look of Quick tonight vs. the Sabres. Quick has been victorious in four of his six starts while posting a 2.29 GAA and .916 SV% since returning to the Kings’ crease.

Rask made 26 saves on 29 shots in the Bruins’ win in Vancouver on Monday. Anton Khudobin gave him the night off yesterday, but Rask will start tonight in Edmonton. He has won three in a row while turning away 78 of 83 shots (.940 SV%). Tonight Rask will see an Oilers team trying to get back on track—they’ve lost three of their last four, but won 7-1 on Tuesday.


Dell stopped 29 of 3 shots in the Sharks’ win over the Stars on Sunday. Dell has won four in a row while allowing just five goals on 118 shots (.958 SV%). Tonight he will put his undefeated home record on the line—Dell is 6-0-0 with a 1.50 GAA And .942 SV% at the SAP Center.



Rinne allowed four goals on 34 shots in the Predators’ OT win over the Jets on Monday. It was a big win for Rinne, who will go tonight in Washington. The veteran has given up his fair-share of goals lately. Rinne is an ugly 9-11-4 with a 2.74 GAA and .914 SV% on the road this season.


Andersen was pulled after he allowed three goals on eight shots in the Maple Leafs’ 7-2 loss in Florida on Tuesday. The loss snapped a three-game winning streak for Andersen, who will make his fifth straight start tonight. He was torched for seven goals on 24 shots in his first start vs. the Lightning.
