Petr Mrazek
Ward will start on Saturday vs. the Senators.

Ward allowed four goals on 31 shots in the Hurricanes loss to the Lightning last Sunday. Eddie Lack got the nod last night, so Ward will go tonight vs. the Senators. He comes in with a solid 2.44 GAA and. 907 SV% in 10 outings this season and has a great history against the Senators—he has gone 13-7-2 with a 2.38 GAA and .922 SV% vs. Ottawa.

Cam Ward
The Capitals have sent Stanislav Galiev to Hershey (AHL) for a conditioning stint.

Galiev has been a healthy scratch in the last nine games, but will head to Hershey for a two-week conditioning stint before returning to the Capitals. Galiev had 45 points (25G / 20A) in 67 games with Hershey last season.

Stanislav Galiev
Lack will be between the pipes on Friday.

Lack surrendered two goals on 19 shots in the Hurricanes’ OT win over the Islanders on October 29th. Tonight will be Lack’s fourth start with the Hurricanes. He has gone 1-2-0 with a 3.61 GAA and .852 SV% in his first three starts and things will not get any easier tonight with the Stars in town. Dallas possesses arguably the strongest offence in the league, so try to avoid Lack tonight.

Eddie Lack
Reimer will start Friday vs. the Red Wings.

Reimer allowed three goals on 33 shots in the Maple Leafs loss to the Jets on Wednesday. Reimer has allowed a combined four goals on 77 shots (.948 SV%) in his last two starts, which have resulted in a win and a loss. Tonight he will face the Red Wings for the second time this season. However, the first time came in a relief effort of Jonathan Bernier—he stopped 12 of 13 in the 4-0 defeat.

James Reimer
Parise suffered a lower-body injury on Thursday and will not play on Saturday vs. Tampa Bay.

Parise suffered the injury after being hit by James Neal while he was engaged with Ryan Ellis along the side boards. Parise got up slowly and it has already been announced that he will not play on Saturday. The nature or severity of the injury has yet to be announced, but the Wild can’t afford to lose Parise for an extended period of time—he currently leads the team in goals with seven.

Zach Parise
Rask leads the Bruins onto the ice for warmups.

Rask allowed five goals on 19 shots in the Bruins loss to the Stars on Tuesday. It was a tough outing for Rask, but the Stars are one of the NHL’s top offensive groups. He has another horrible matchup tonight vs. Washington—the Capitals have averaged 3.27 goals per game through four games.

Tuukka Rask
Bobrovksy will start on Thursday vs. the Kings.

Bobrovsky made 41 saves on 43 shots in the Blue Jackets win in San Jose on Tuesday. Bobrovksy had easily his best game of the season and he will look to win two in a row tonight in Los Angeles. Michael Hutchinson
