Jagr (lower-body) will return to the Panthers' lineup on Wednesday.

Jagr missed the last two games with a lower-body injury, but he will be back in the lineup on Thursday in Anaheim. The 43-year-old has had a great start to the season, posting 10 points (6G / 4A) in nine games this season.

Jaromir Jagr
The Ducks have placed Jiri Sekac (sprained ankle) on injured reserve.

Sekac suffered a sprained ankle in Sunday’s win over the Predators. He was placed on IR and the Ducks recalled Max Friberg, who will make his season debut with Sekac out. Sekac will miss at least one week.

Jiri Sekac
Fleury starts Wednesday vs. the Canucks.

Fleury stopped all 21 shots that he faced in the Penguins shutout win over the Maple Leafs last Saturday. Fleury has won three in a row and six out of his last seven while posting a 1.29 GAA and .955 SV%. Fleury will face a Vancouver team that is 6-2-4 while averaging 2.92 goals per game (t-8th in NHL).

Marc-Andre Fleury
Smith will start Thursday vs. the Avalanche.

Smith was pulled after allowing two goals on the first three shots that he faced in the Coyotes 4-3 loss to the Canucks last Friday. Remember when I said his hot start wouldn’t last? This is what I was talking about. He lasted just 4:26 before taking a seat. He will look to redeem himself tonight when he takes on the 4-7-1 Avalanche.

Mike Smith
Elliott (upper-body) is questionable for Thursday's game.

Elliott, who didn’t play on Friday has missed the Coyotes last two practices and could be in danger of missing Thursday’s game as well. Elliott has served a healthy scratch for the majority of the season.

Stefan Elliott
Veremette (lower-body) is questionable for Thursday's game.

Vermette returned to the lineup after a three-game absence and recorded two assists, but it appears as if he suffered a setback. Monitor his status during Thursday’s morning skate.

Antoine Vermette
Luongo will start Wednesday in Anaheim.

Luongo allowed three goals on 30 shots in the Panthers loss to the Bruins last Friday. Luongo has lost four of his last five starts while giving up three goals in each of those losses. Luongo enters play with a 2.15 GAA and .934 SV% and on Wednesday he will face a Ducks team who is averaging a league-worst 1.27 goals per game.

Roberto Luongo
Hanzal (lower-body) will return to the Coyotes lineup on Thursday.

Hanzal has missed the last two games with a lower-body injury, but will be back in the lineup on Thursday vs. the Avalanche. Hanzal has 10 assists in nine games this season. He could replace Antoine Vermette who could miss tomorrow’s game with a lower-body ailment.

Martin Hanzal
The Ducks have recalled Max Friberg and he will make his season debut on Wednesday.

Friberg, 22, has scored three goals with two assists in seven games with San Diego this season. He will make his season debut tonight vs. the Panthers because Jiri Sekac (ankle) is on IR. Friberg failed to record a point in his NHL debut in 2014-15.

Max Friberg
Andersen will start Wednesday vs. the Panthers.

Andersen allowed two goals on 42 shots in the Ducks win over the Predators on Sunday. Andersen FINALLY recorded his first win of the season and his owners are hoping this will open the flood gates. Andersen currently ranks eighth in the NHL in SV% (.935) and 10th in GAA (2.05). He will face a Panthers team who has five of their last seven while averaging 2.57 goals per game.

Frederik Andersen
Higgins (foot) will make his season debut on Wednesday.

Higgins missed the start of the season after suffering a fractured foot in the preseason. Higgins will skate on the Canucks’ second or third line. He is coming off of a season where he had 12 goals and 24 assists (36 points) in 77 games.

The Flyers have reassigned Chris Conner to Lehigh Valley (AHL).

Conner did not appear in a game during his call-up and with the Flyers in need of a depth defenseman, not forward, he has been sent to the AHL, where he has four goals and four assists in eight games this season.

Chris Conner
Condon will start Thursday vs. the Islanders.

Condon allowed two goals on 27 shots in the Canadiens OT loss to the Senators on Tuesday. Condon has been spectacular, showing the Canadiens made the right choice in picking him as Carey Price’s backup for 2015-16. He enters play on Thursday with a 1.60 GAA and .941 SV% in five starts. He will face an Islanders team that has just seven goals in their last four games.
