Hossa (lower-body) is questionable for Monday’s game.

Hossa suffered a lower-body injury on Friday vs. the Wild. He missed Sunday’s practice and is questionable for Monday’s game, but the injury is not believed to be serious. With Hossa likely out, the Blackhawks have recalled Ryan Hartman.

Marian Hossa
Andersen leads the Ducks onto the ice for warmups.

Andersen made 32 saves on 34 shots in the Ducks loss in St. Louis on Thursday. It was another strong performance from Andersen, who is still winless in eight starts this season. He enters play on Sunday with a 2.05 GAA and .932 SV%…not exactly the numbers you would expect from a guy who is 0-5-2.

Frederik Andersen
Hutton leads the Predators onto the ice for warmups.

Hutton allowed three goals on 41 shots in the Predators win over the Senators in Hutton’ season debut back on October 17th. Hutton is 27-19-8 in his career and will likely see the majority of his starts come in back-to-back sets. He makes for a strong spot-start tonight vs. a Ducks team who is struggling in the early part of the season.

Carter Hutton
Ullmark will be in goal Sunday vs. the Islanders.

Ullmark stopped 27 of 28 shots in the Sabres win over the Flyers on Friday. It was his first career NHL win and earned him a second straight start tonight in Brooklyn. Ullmark has allowed a combined five goals on 56 shots (.911 SV%). He is a risky start vs. a strong Isles’ offence.

Linus Ullmark
Greiss started in goal Sunday vs. the Sabres.

Greiss allowed three goals on 29 shots in the Islanders loss to the Hurricanes on Thursday. Jaroslav Halak started last night, so Greiss will go tonight vs. the Sabres. He has won three of five starts while posting a 2.53 GAA and .926 SV% so far this season. He makes for a nice Sunday spot-start with the Sabres in town.

Thomas Greiss
Vasilevskiy will make his season debut on Sunday.

Vasilevskiy won each of his two starts while posting a 1.00 GAA and .966 SV% during his conditioning stint with Syracuse (AHL). Two great performances show that Vasilevskiy is healthy and ready to make his season debut with the Lightning. The 21-year-old was 7-5-1 with a 2.36 GAA and .918 SV% with the Lightning last season.

Andrei Vasilevskiy
Ward will start on Sunday vs. the Lightning.

Ward allowed two goals on 32 shots in the Hurricanes win over the Avalanche on Friday. He has won each of his last two starts while allowing just three goals on 58 shots (.948 SV%). Ward will have a tough matchup tonight as he goes for his third win in a row and win No. 5 on the season.

Cam Ward
Varlamov leads the Avalanche onto the ice for warmups.

Varlamov allowed three goals on 26 shots in Colorado’s loss in Carolina on Friday. It was Varlamov’s second game in as many nights, so it wasn’t surprising to see him struggle vs. the Hurricanes. He has won just two of seven starts while posting a 3.36 GAA and .889 SV% this season.

Semyon Varlamov
Hutchinson will start on Sunday vs. the Canadiens.

Hutchinson made 45 saves on 46 shots in the Jets win over the Blackhawks on Thursday. Hutchinson has won all four of his starts while posting a 1.75 GAA and .949 SV%. Hutchinson was great in October and catches a break on Sunday with Carey Price out with a lower-body injury.

Michael Hutchinson
Condon will start Sunday vs. the Jets.

Condon gave up two goals on 32 shots in the Canadiens win in Calgary on Friday. Carey Price was supposed to start tonight, but he is out with a lower-body injury, which means Condon will make his fourth start of the season. Condon has won each of his first three starts of the season while posting a 1.67 GAA and .944 SV%.
