Lack allowed five goals on 36 shots in the Canucks loss in Winnipeg on Saturday. Lack has allowed 12 goals on 112 shots (.893 SV%) while going 1-2-0 in his last three outings. Lack will make his third start of the season against the Kings—he is 1-1-0 with a 2.15 GAA and .915 SV% in the first two meetings.

The Red Wings have recalled Landon Ferraro from Grand Rapids (AHL).

Ferraro, 23, has registered 27 goals and 15 assists (42 points) in 70 games with Grand Rapids this season. His recall could be to give Mike Babcock another offensive option with Justin Abdelkader (hand) out, or it could be because Pavel Datsyuk was banged up in Sunday’s loss to the Capitals.

Varlamov allowed four goals on 42 shots in the Avs win over the Predators on Tuesday. Varalamov was limited to 56 starts entering today because of injury. He has gone 27-20-8 with a 2.57 GAA and .921 SV%. Tonight will be his third starts against the Blackhawks this season—he has gone 2-0-0 with a 0.50 GAA and .988 SV% in the first two.

Berra allowed two goals on 37 shots in Colorado’s win in Anaheim last Friday. Berra has gone 2-2-0 with a 1.85 GAA and .944 SV% in his last four outings. Tonight he will try to play spoiler against a Jets team who are battling for a playoff spot. Winnipeg has won three in a row while outscoring their opponents 8-4.

Bachman allowed one goal on 30 shots in the Oilers win in Colorado on March 30th. Tonight he will take on an L.A team still fighting for a playoff spot—the Kings are 5-2-1 in their last eight games.
