All of a sudden Pavelec is the go-to guy having won six in a row while posting an insane 1.15 GAA, .964 SV% and one shutout. Tonight he will try to notch his first career win against the Blackhawks—in five starts against Chicago he is 0-3-2 with a 4.58 GAA and .867 SV%.
Bishop was yanked after allowing three goals on 11 shots in the Lightning’s loss to Nashville on Thursday. The loss snapped a three-game winning streak for Bishop, who will look to set a new career-high with 37 wins today vs. the Red Wings. In his first three starts against Detroit, Bishop is 3-0-0 with a 1.62 GAA and .937 SV%.
Wisniewski was a healthy scratch on Thursday, but he will be back in the lineup this afternoon on Long Island. Wisniewski has three assists in eight games with the Ducks. He will replace Hampus Lindholm.
