Skille will have season-ending shoulder surgery.

Skille suffered the shoulder injury on February 17th against the Flyers. He will undergo surgery and it will end his regular season. The Blue Jackets have had some crazy injury issues this season and Skille is the latest one to go down.

Miller will miss 4-6 weeks with a sprained knee.

As many Canucks fans and Miller owners feared, he will miss at least one month with a sprained knee that he suffered in a collision with his teammate Jannik Hansen. With Miller out for potentially the rest of the regular season, the Canucks will turn to Eddie Lack in the middle of a playoff race.

The Penguins have traded Zach Sill, a 2016 2nd round pick and a 2015 4th round pick to the Maple Leafs for Daniel Winnik.

Sill, 26, is a scrappy player, who is just a salary dump for the Penguins and also a pending unrestricted free agent. The remainder of the season will likely serve as a tryout for the Maple Leafs heading into 2015-16. He has terrible possession numbers though, so the new regime in Toronto may not like that.

Zach Sill
The Leafs have traded Daniel Winnik to the Penguins for a 2016 2nd round pick, a 2015 4th round pick and Zach Sill.

Winnik, 29, is set to become an unrestricted free agent at the end of the season. He has scored 25 points (7G / 18A) in 58 games with the Maple Leafs this season. The Penguins are strapped up against the cap, which is why the Maple Leafs took on Sill’s salary as well as retained 50% of Winnik’s salary for the remainder of the season. Winnik is a versatile forward who works hard in both ends of the rink.

Daniel Winnik
The Hurricanes have traded Jiri Tlusty to the Jets for a 2016 3rd round pick and a 2015 conditional 6th round pick.

Tlusty, 26, is set to become an unrestricted free agent in the offseason. He has played under Jets head coach Paul Maurice both when he was with the Maple Leafs and Hurricanes. Maurice is obviously familiar with Tlusty and like what he brings to the Jets. Winnipeg recently lost Mathieu Perreault for a long period of time, so a winger was needed. Tlusty has 13 goals and 10 assists (27 points) in 52 games this season.

Price gets the call on Thursday night vs. Columbus.

Price allowed two goals on 29 shots in the Canadiens 5-2 win over the Blues on Tuesday. Price is 7-0-1 with a 1.22 GAA and .954 SV% over his last eight starts. He is having a Vezina-like season and will look to keep things rolling tonight in Columbus—he has gone 2-0-0 with a 1.50 GAA and .938 SV% in his first two starts against the Blue Jackets.

Carey Price
The Kings have signed Kyle Clifford to a five-year, $8 million dollar extension ($1.6M AAV).

Clifford, 24, has recorded 10 points (3G / 7A), 87 shots on goal and 66 PIMS in 57 games with the Kings this season. He is a big, heavy forward who is now signed through the 2019-20 NHL season.

Kyle Clifford
Sekac is not expected to play Wednesday because of Visa issues.

Sekac skated on the Ducks second line with Ryan Kesler and Jakob Silfverberg in the morning skate, but because of immigration/Visa issues from coming over from a Canadian team, he might be held out of the lineup tonight. There is a chance it could be resolved before game time, but he can’t play as of now.

Jiri Sekac
Gibson will start Wednesday vs. the Senators.

Gibson allowed three goals on 38 shots in the Ducks shootout win over the Red Wings on Monday. With Frederik Andersen still not quite ready, Gibson will go for his fourth-straight win. He has not faced the Senators this season, but has gone 4-2-0 with a 3.02 GAA and .903 SV% since being recalled.

John Gibson
Quincey (ankle) has been cleared to return to practice.

Quincey received good news from the doctor this afternoon. The Red Wings feared that he may need surgery, but he doesn’t and has been cleared to return to the lineup as soon as Mike Babcock feels he is ready to go.

Kyle Quincey
The Blackhawks have placed Patrick Kane (upper-body) on long-term IR.

Kane suffered a “significant” upper-body injury in Tuesday’s game against the Panthers. There has been no official word on exactly how long he will be sidelined, but his movement to LTIR means that he will miss a minimum of 10 games or 24 days. He is expected to be sidelined for longer than that, but we will wait for the official timeline from the team.

Patrick Kane
Fleury starts Wednesday vs. the Capitals.

Fleury allowed one goal on 35 shots in the Penguins 5-1 win over the Panthers on Sunday. The win snapped a three-game personal losing streak for Fleury. One of those losses was against the Capitals, who he will take on tonight in Washington. He is 0-3-0 with a 3.05 GAA and .912 SV% vs. the Caps this season.

Marc-Andre Fleury
Ehrhoff (concussion) will be a game-time decision on Wednesday.

Ehrhoff has been out since January 28th, but it looks like he could be back on the Pens’ blue line tonight vs. the Capitals. Before getting hurt, he has three goals and 10 assists in 43 games, which has too be considered disappointing for the 32-year-old. Expect Derrick Pouliot to come out of the lineup if Ehrhoff ends up being good-to-go.
