The Kings have activated Tyler Toffoli (illness) from IR; he will play Wednesday.

Toffoli has missed the last six games with mono, but will be back in tonight vs. the Blackhawks. He will skate with Jeff Carter and Dwight King on the Kings second line. He has 12 goals, 15 assists (27 points) and a plus-16 rating in 41 games.

Tyler Toffoli
Hiller will start again on Thursday.

Hiller allowed one goal on 18 shots in the Flames win over the Sabres on Tuesday. It was a nice return to the crease for Hiller, who saw the last five starts go to Joni Ortio, who is still in Adirondack (AHL) following the All Star break. Entering Thursday vs. the Wild, Hiller is 14-13-2 with a 2.42 GAA and .912 SV%.

Jonas Hiller
Thornton (lower-body) is expected to return to the Panthers lineup on Thursday.

Thornton has been out of the lineup since December 6th, but it sounds like he will be back in tomorrow vs. the Blue Jackets. He has one goal, one assist and 27 PIMS in 22 games with the Panthers.

Shawn Thornton
Dorsett left Tuesday’s game with a lower-body injury and did not return.

Dorsett left the game after colliding knee-on-knee with Ryan Kesler. Kesler will not face supplementary discipline for the hit and Dorsett’s status for Friday’s game remains uncertain.

Derek Dorsett
Fleury will start vs. the Capitals.

Fleury gave up two goals on 26 shots in the Penguins loss to the Blackhawks last Wednesday. He was given last night off, but will start tonight in Washington. January has not been great for Fleury, who has gone 2-3-2 with a 3.19 GAA and .892 SV% so far. He made 31 saves in a 3-0 loss in his first start vs. the Caps.

Marc-Andre Fleury
Lundqvist will start on Thursday vs. Montreal.

Lundqvist allowed four goals on 38 shots in the Rangers loss to the Islanders on Tuesday. King Henrik was bombarded in his first start after the All Star break, but he was 14-2-0 entering Tuesday, so he is a strong option even with the tough matchup with Montreal—he is 1-1-0 with a 1.52 GAA and .941 SV% against Montreal this season.

Henrik Lundqvist
Quick was the first goalie off of the ice for the Kings.

Quick surrendered three goals on 24 shots in the Kings loss to the Sharks last Wednesday. He is an ugly 1-3-3 with a 3.39 GAA and .863 SV% in seven starts in January. A rough month will likely continue tonight with the Blackhawks in town. He made 21 saves in a 4-1 loss in their first meeting.

Jonathan Quick
Crosby (lower-body) will be a game-time decision on Wednesday.

Crosby missed Tuesday’s game because he missed the All Star game, but he was on the ice this morning and could play tonight. The Penguins did not have any media availability this morning, so there is no official word. Monitor his status leading up to warmups.

Sidney Crosby
Holland (upper-body) will return to the Maple Leafs lineup on Wednesday.

Holland has been out with an upper-body injury since December 31st. He missed the last 10 games, but will be back in between Mike Santorelli and Daniel Winnik tonight vs. the Devils. He has 16 points (8G / 8A) in 38 games.

Peter Holland
Murray (knee) will travel on the Blue Jackets upcoming two-game road-trip.

Murray has been sidelined with a knee injury since November 1st. He was a full participant in practice on Wednesday, but has not been cleared to play yet. Despite not being cleared, he will still travel with the team to Florida and could still receive clearance at some point during the trip.

Ryan Murray
Greening has cleared waivers; expected to be assigned to Binghamtom (AHL).

Greening, 28, has just one goal in 20 games with the Senators this season. It looks like he is heading to the AHL for the first time since 2010-11, after spending the last four years with the Sens.
