Pavelec will start in goal for the Jets.

Pavelec made 46 saves on 47 shots in the Jets win over the Stars on Thursday. It was Pavelec’s best performance of the year and snapped a four-game losing streak. Tonight he will face an Arizona team who has gone 1-1-0 with a 3.02 GAA and .897 SV% against this season.

Ondrej Pavelec
Mrazek will start again on Sunday.

Mrazek turned aside 34 of 36 shots in the Red Wings 5-2 victory over Nashville last night. He will start again tonight, having won three straight starts with a 1.63 GAA and .944 SV%. He is filling in admirably for Jimmy Howard and should be a great start tonight with the Sabres rolling into town.

Lehtonen leads the Stars onto the ice for warmups.

Lehtonen was pulled after he allowed two goals on five shots vs. the Senators on Tuesday. Anders Lindback came in in relief and led the Stars to victory, which earned him the start on Thursday. Lehtonen will get back between the pipes tonight vs. the Caps--he is 1-1-2 with a 3.59 GAA and .874 SV% in January.

Carcillo has been offered an in-person hearing for his cross-check on Mathieu Perreault on Friday.

The play injured Perreault and the in-person hearing, means that Carcillo, a repeat offender, is looking at a suspension of five-plus games. His potential suspension will mean that Joakim Nordstrom will get back into the lineup.

The Kings have recalled J.F. Berube from Manchester (AHL).

Martin Jones is battling an injury, so the Kings have recalled Berube to be Jonathan Quick’s backup. However, there is no word whether he will make it for tonight’s game. The 23-year-old is 19-4-3 with a 2.05 GAA and .920 SV% with Manchester this season.
