Markstrom will start in New York on Monday.

Markstrom had the night off in New Jersey's last outing, a 6-5 loss to the Washington Capitals, but will return to the crease on Monday against the New York Rangers. Markstrom has a 2.62 GAA and .902 SV% in 18 games this season (11-6-1), sporting a .909 SV% in his previous 11 (8-3-0). The Devils enter the action on Monday as -125 road favorites against a struggling Rangers club that snapped a five-game losing skid in their previous outing.

The Panthers reassigned Samoskevich to Charlotte (AHL) on Monday.

Samoskevich was sent down to make room for Chris Driedger, who is projected to back up Spencer Knight in Pittsburgh on Tuesday as Sergei Bobrovsky did not travel with the team due to the impending birth of his child. Samoskevich is likely to be quickly recalled to the Panthers once Bobrovsky returns.

Mackie Samoskevich
Bobrovsky (personal) is not traveling with the Panthers for their game in Pittsburgh on Tuesday.

Bobrovsky is not expected to be available in Pittsburgh on Tuesday due to the impending birth of his child. Spencer Knight is projected to get the start in Bobrovsky's absence, and the team also recalled Chris Driedger from Charlotte (AHL) on Monday, presumably to back up Knight on Tuesday.

Sergei Bobrovsky
Crevier will be a healthy scratch on Monday in Toronto.

Nolan Allan will return from a three-game absence, sending Crevier to the press box as a healthy scratch. The 23-year-old Crevier has been limited to only four games this season, averaging 16:07 time-on-ice, recording one point (1G / 0A) and a -2 plus/minus.

Louis Crevier
Soderblom will start in Toronto on Monday.

On the tail end of a back-to-back, the Blackhawks will turn to Soderblom between the pipes for the first time in two weeks. The 25-year-old Soderblom has been limited to only six games this season (1-4-0), as a result of strong play from starting netminder Petr Mrazek, despite posting a solid 2.36 GAA and .926 SV%. The Blackhawks enter Monday's contest as significant +358 road underdogs against the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Arvid Soderblom
Laine (sprained knee) is expected to return to Montreal's lineup this week.

Laine has yet to play this season after spraining his left knee towards the end of training camp, but appears to be nearing an imminent return to the lineup. The 26-year-old winger was acquired from Columbus in late August for a 2026 2nd-round pick and Jordan Harris after he put up six goals, nine points, and 41 SOG in 18 games in 2023-24.

Patrik Laine
Evans (undisclosed) missed practice on Monday after leaving last game due to injury.

Evans seemingly played through an injury on Saturday, ending the contest with 20:17 time-on-ice, but was not at practice on Monday. The 22-year-old Evans is averaging 20:53 time-on-ice, recording an impressive 16 points (3G / 13A), 42 blocks, and 40 hits.

Ryker Evans
Carlsson (upper-body) is still considered day-to-day.

Carlsson was on the receiving end of a hit by Tye Kartye of the Seattle Kraken last Monday and exited the game shortly after, playing only 6:28 time-on-ice. Carlsson, in his second NHL season, has 11 points (6G / 5A) in 20 games. He has ben skating on his own and remains day-to-day.

Leo Carlsson
Ingram (upper-body) is not close to returning to Utah's lineup.

The 27-year-old Ingram is battling an upper-body injury, originally not believed to be dealing with a serious injury, is sporting an ugly 3.61 GAA and .871 SV% in 13 games (6-4-3). Luckily for Utah HC, Karel Vejmelka has stepped in and been tremendous between the pipes during Ingram's absence.

Connor Ingram
Dumba will draw back into Dallas' lineup on Monday in Utah.

Alex Petrovic has been reassigned to the Texas Stars (AHL), opening a roster spot for Dumba to re-enter the lineup. The 30-year-old Dumba has struggled establishing himself with the Stars this season, averaging only 15:54 time-on-ice, his lowest total since his rookie season in 2014-15.

Matt Dumba
Stankoven (lower-body) will return on Monday in Utah.

Stankoven has missed the last two games due to a lower-body injury but will re-enter the lineup on Monday against the Utah Hockey Club. The 21-year-old Stankoven is in the mix for the Calder Trophy, with 15 points (4G / 11A) in 21 games but has been held off the scoresheet in five of his last six.

Logan Stankoven
DeSmith will start in Utah on Monday.

On the tail end of a back-to-back, the Stars will turn to DeSmith between the pipes. The 33-year-old DeSmith has a 2.81 GAA and .891 SV% in seven appearances this season (2-4-0), struggling immensely in his last two outings (0-2-0), allowing 10 goals on 53 shots (.811 SV%). The Stars had an impressive 3-1 victory over the Winnipeg Jets last night. They enter Monday's contest as -132 road favorites against the Utah Hockey Club, averaging 4.0 goals per game over their last five (3-1-1).

Casey DeSmith
Seguin (undisclosed) has been placed on IR retroactive to December 1st.

Seguin has missed four games with injuries already this season and will miss at least three more after being played on Injured Reserve. The 32-year-old Seguin is enjoying a very productive 2024-25 campaign, scoring 20 points (9G / 11A) in 19 games.

Tyler Seguin
Petrovic has been loaned to Texas (AHL).

Petrovic made his season debut with Dallas last week, playing two straight, but has been sent down to the Texas Stars (AHL). The 32-year-old Petrovic spent the majority of 2023-24 with the Texas Stars (AHL) and had five goals and 22 points in 70 games played.
