Miller leads the Canucks onto the ice for warmups.

Miller allowed a single goal on 24 shots in the Canucks win in Florida last night. Despite the back-to-back, Miller will start again tonight, in the Canucks last game before the All Star break. He has won three in a row while posting a 0.33 GAA, .988 SV% and two shutouts. He is as hot as they come, but does have a scary matchup tonight in Tampa Bay.

The Flames have recalled Tyler Wotherspoon from Adirondack (AHL).

Wotherspoon, 21, has been recalled to serve as the Flames seventh defenseman with Ladislav Smid going on IR. Wotherspoon has two goals and 13 assists (15 points) in 38 games AHL games. He had four assists in 14 games with the Flames last season .

The Flames have sent Drew Shore back to Adirondack (AHL).

Shore, 23, did not record a point in the only game that he appeared in with the Flames. He heads to Adirondack, where he is expected to make his debut with the team this week. He has 30 AHL points (9G / 21A) in 35 games with San Antonio this season.

Drew Shore
The Flames have activated Karri Ramo (upper-body) from IR.

Ramo has missed the last five games with an upper-body injury, but could be back in goal on Wednesday. The Flames placed Ladislav Smid on IR to make room for Ramo to be activated, so they will carry three goalies for the time being.

Karri Ramo
The Flames have placed Ladislav Smid (undisclosed) on IR.

Smid, who recently missed 10 games with an upper-body injury, will be out of the lineup again, for an undetermined amount of time. His placement on IR allowed the Flames to activate Karri Ramo.

Ladislav Smid
Nystrom (upper-body) will return to the Predators lineup on Tuesday.

Nystrom has missed the last five games with an upper-body injury, but will be back in tonight in Montreal. He will replace Taylor Beck on the Predators fourth line. Nystrom has nine points (5G / 4) and a plus-5 rating in 39 games.

Eric Nystrom
Boedker had successful surgery to remove his injured spleen; recovery is expected to be 4-6 weeks.

Boedker injured his spleen in the game against Winnipeg on Sunday and had it removed on that night. Boedker, who has 14 goals and 14 assists (28 points) in 45 games will be out of the Coyotes lineup for at least one month.

Mikkel Boedker
Luke Witkowski will make his NHL debut on Tuesday vs. the Canucks.

Witkowski will replace Mark Barberio in the lineup tonight vs. Vancouver. Witkowski is a physical blue liner who will help replace some of the physicality the Lightning are lacking since losing Radko Gudas. He has six points (1G / 5A) in 36 games with Syracuse this season.

Luke Witkowski
Comeau (upper-body) will have X-rays this week; exact timeline will be determined after.

Comeau has been out since December 22nd and the only update that has been available is that he would miss “several weeks”. He has been sidelined for nearly one month already, so the X-rays should provide a more detailed timeline for his return.

Blake Comeau
Gormley (lower-body) has been activated from IR and is expected to play on Tuesday.

Gormley has missed the last four games with a lower-body injury, but it looks like he will be back in the lineup tonight in Chicago. Gormley looks like he will be played with Philip Samuelsson.

Brandon Gormley
Rask was the first goalie off of the ice for the Bruins.

Rask allowed two goals on 30 shots in the Bruins loss to the Blue Jackets on Saturday. The loss snapped a four-game winning streak for Rask, who looks like he will start the first game of their back-to-back tonight in Dallas. He has been a miserable 5-6-2 with a 2.86 GAA and .907 SV% on the road this season.

Tuukka Rask
Emery will start on Tuesday vs. the Penguins.

Emery surrendered two goals on 20 shots after relieving Rob Zepp yesterday afternoon. In his last four appearances he has allowed 11 goals on 55 shots (.800 SV%). Tonight he will get the nod vs. the Penguins, so it would probably be wise to avoid spot-starting him.

Ray Emery
Richardson (lower-body) will not play on Tuesday.

Richardson will miss his second straight game with a lower-body injury that he suffered in Friday’s game in Carolina. He was hit by a shot from teammate Chris Tanev. There was a chance he could of returned tonight, but he decided not to push it and will wait until after the All Star break.

Brad Richardson
Trouba (upper-body) was a full participant in Jets practice on Tuesday.

For the first time since suffering an upper-body injury back on December 13th, Trouba took line rushes in practice this morning. This is a positive sign that Trouba could be available for tomorrow’s game vs. the Blue Jackets. However, with the All Star break looming, the Jets could elect to rest Trouba for another week.

Jacob Trouba
Fleury will start on Wednesday vs. Chicago.

Fleury was yanked after allowing four goals on 17 shots in the Penguins loss to the Rangers on Monday. He has allowed nine goals on 51 shots (.824 SV%) in his last two starts (both losses). He was given Tuesday night off, but will be between the pipes vs. a Chicago team who are 3-4-0 in their last seven.
