Miller allowed four goals on 37 shots in the Canucks’ loss in Anaheim on Sunday. Miller has stopped 58 of 62 shots (.935 SV%) in his first two starts and it looks like he will start again tonight vs. Ottawa. The Senators have averaged 3.40 goals per game this season. They have a tonne of offensive upside, making Miller a risky start on Tuesday.

Couturier must have been banged up during last night’s game in Montreal and will be a game-time decision on Tuesday. The Flyers recalled Taylor Leier in case Couturier is unavailable.

Neuvirth was pulled after he allowed four goals on 16 shots in the Flyers loss in Chicago on October 18th. Steve Mason started the last three games, including last night’s game vs. the Canadiens, so Neuvirth will go tonight vs. Buffalo. The Sabres come in as losers of three of four while scoring 3.00 goals per game to kick of the young season.

Forsling was injured in Monday’s game vs. the Flames and is listed as day-to-day, but with the Blackhawks off until Friday, Forsling has a chance to be ready.

Kreider missed Tuesday’s practice and is not expected to be in the lineup on Wednesday. If Kreider doesn’t play, expect J.T. Miller to remain in the Rangers’ top-6. Monitor Kreider’s status during the morning skate, just to be sure he is not available.

Lundqvist allowed two goals on 29 shots in the Rangers win over the Coyotes on Sunday. King Henrik has now won two in a row and has won three of his first five starts while posting a 2.42 GAA and .901 SV%. Lundqvist makes for a great option tonight—he takes on a Bruins team without their two regular goalies coming in on the tail-end of a back-to-back.

Schneider turned aside 28 of 29 shots in the Devils overtime win over the Wild on Saturday. Schneider has won two of his first five games while posting a 1.80 GAA and .943 SV%. This is exactly what we’ve come to expect out of Schneider over the years—elite splits, but a limited number of wins thanks to an anemic Devils’ offence. They’ve tallied just eight goals in front of him this season.

Gudas’ six-game suspension is up and he will play tonight vs. the Sabres. Gudas is often among the league’s hits leaders, but doesn’t provide a whole lot in the way of offence—Gudas had 14 points (5G / 9A) in 76 games a season ago.

Tanev was tangled up with Anze Kopitar on Saturday and absorbed a big hit from Nick Ritchie on Sunday, so he was too banged up to participate in the morning skate and won’t play on Tuesday. With Tanev out, Troy Stretcher was recalled from Utica (AHL) and he is expected to make his NHL debut.

Dorsett will miss a minimum of seven days with a shoulder injury that he suffered on a hit by Kings’ defenseman Brayden McNabb in Saturday’s game.

Andersen allowed four goals on 35 shots in the Maple Leafs’ shootout loss in Chicago on Saturday. Andersen has struggled early on, winning just one of his first four starts while posting a 3.64 GAA and .879 SV%. Andersen will make for a risky start tonight—the Lightning sit at 4-1-0 while averaging 3.20 goals per game.

Jones allowed three goals on 32 shots in the Sharks’ loss in Detroit on Saturday. Jones won his first two starts of the season, but has now lost three in a row while allowing a combined 11 goals on 79 shots (.861 SV%). Jones draws a strong matchup tonight vs. Anaheim—the Ducks are 2-3-1 and have averaged just 2.33 goals per game to start the year.

Budaj allowed three goals on 25 shots in the Kings win over the Canucks on Saturday. He has won his first two starts of the year despite allowing six goals on 45 shots (.867 SV%).
