Kuemper allowed two goals on 25 shots in the Wild’s loss to the Blue Jackets on Wednesday. He has lost five of his last six and now sits at 12-11-0 with a 2.58 GAA and .903 SV% on the year. He will start vs. an inconsistent Leafs team, who have lost five of their last seven.
Brodin is taking line rushes with Ryan Suter in the morning skate which would suggest that he will play tonight. Monitor his status after the skate wraps up.
Ryder has missed the last three games with mumps, but will be back in tonight vs. the Canadiens. He has 14 points (4G / 10A) in 34 games this season.
The Devils have been hit hard by mumps, but as of right now, it doesn’t look like Gelinas has mumps. Seth Helgeson will replace him in tonight’s lineup. Gelinas is day-to-day.
Semin took part in the morning skate, but will not play tonight. He needs to get back up to speed before he plays according to coach Bill Peters.
Downie has missed the last five games with mumps, but will be back in tonight vs.the Lightning. Downie has five goals, 12 assists (17 points), a plus-8 rating and 135 PIMS in 32 games this season. He does it across the board and will be a welcomed addition to many fantasy lineups tonight.
Bishop allowed two goals on 23 shots in the Lightning’s win over the Maple Leafs on Monday. He was held out of Wednesday’s game to nurse a minor injury, but will be back in the cage tonight in Pittsburgh. Bishop enters play at 18-6-2 with a 2.29 GAA and .914 SV%.
Greiss allowed three goals on 27 shots in the Penguins loss to the Blue Jackets on December 13th. He has missed the last eight games with mumps, but he will start tonight vs. the Lightning. Greiss is 3-2-2 with a 2.53 GAA and .919 SV% on the year, tonight will be just his second start at home.
Gudas will miss his second consecutive game with an undisclosed injury. He is day-to-day.
After missing the last four games, Garrison will return to the lineup tonight in Pittsburgh. There is no word on who he will replace, but Garrison comes in with 17 points (3G / 14A) and a plus-12 rating in 35 games.
Staal was rested for Wednesday’s game after feeling some pain in his fractured leg. Despite the day-off he was back on the ice at the Hurricanes morning skate today and will be in the lineup tonight. He recorded one assist in his season debut on Monday.
Skinner is battling flu-like symptoms and will be held out of the lineup tonight vs. Philadelphia. He is listed as day-to-day, so monitor his status leading up to Sunday’s game vs. the Bruins.
Havlat has missed the last four games with an illness, but will play tonight vs. Montreal. He has eight points (3G / 5A) and a minus-10 rating in 22 games this year.
Elias has missed the last four games with mumps, but will be back in the lineup tonight vs. the Canadiens. He has registered 13 points (4G / 9A) and an ugly minus-16 rating in 29 games this season.
Kinkaid allowed two goals on 28 shots in the Devils win over the Lightning on December 19th. Cory Schneider has started the last five games, but it will be Kinkaid tonight vs. the Canadiens. He is 1-1-2 with a 1.75 GAA and .939 SV% in three starts and three relief appearances this season.
