Tonight he will face a Red Wings team looking to avoid a season-high fourth straight loss. The Wings are the league’s seventh highest scoring team, but the way Bob is going right now, he is a safe start.
Dubnyk allowed three goals on 35 shots in the in the Coyotes loss to the Wild on Saturday. Despite the loss and not recording a win since November 22nd, Dubnyk will get his second straight start. In his first start vs. his former team, Dubnyk made 33 saves in a 2-1 win.
Anderson allowed four goals on 35 shots in the Senators loss to the Kings last Thursday. Robin Lehner got the last two starts, but it will be Anderson tonight in New Jersey. He has just one victory in his last eight starts (1-6-1) while posting a 3.27 GAA and .903 SV%. It has not been pretty for Andy, but he draws a strong matchup tonight.
