Neuvirth will start vs. Winnipeg.

Neuvirth allowed three goals on 37 shots in a loss to the Panthers on December 6th. With Jhonas Enroth playing lights out right now, Neuvirth has been relegated to back-up duty. Enroth picked up another W last night, but will be Neuvirth tonight in Winnipeg. Neuvirth has gone 1-4-0 with a 3.42 GAA and .898 SV% on the road this season.

Michal Neuvirth
Rask was the first goalie off of the ice for the Bruins.

Rask stopped 29 of 31 shot attempts in the Bruins shootout loss to the Senators on Saturday afternoon. Rask has dropped four of his last five starts with a 3.37 GAA and .887 SV%. Tonight he draws a tough matchup in Nashville, but the goaltending matchup between Rask vs. Rinne should be excellent.

Tuukka Rask
Kuemper will be in goal vs. the Blackhawks.

Kuemper surrendered two goals on 30 shots in Thursday’s loss to the Sharks. Kuemper had a ridiculous start to the year, but now sits at 11-9-0 with a 2.45 GAA and .906 SV%. Tonight he draws a brutal matchup in Chicago. The Blackhawks have won nine of 10. Kuemper is 4-6-0 despite posting a 2.42 GAA and .920 SV%.

Darcy Kuemper
Pavelec gets the start vs. Buffalo.

Pavelec allowed three goals on 26 shots in the Jets OT loss to the Avalanche on Thursday. Michael Hutchinson did not have his strongest game on Saturday, so it will be Pav tonight vs. Buffalo. What was once a must-start matchup has become a little less certain with the Sabres recent stretch of hot play.

Ondrej Pavelec
Bishop (lower-body) says his injury is not serious; hoping to be back this weekend.

Bishop said he tweaked something in the first period of last night’s game. Bishop hopes to practice on Thursday on play this weekend, either Friday vs. the Devils or Saturday vs. the Islanders.

Ben Bishop
Ramo gets the start in goal for the Flames.

Ramo allowed four goals on 19 shots in the Flames 4-3 loss to the Sabres on Thursday. After a seven-game winning streak, Ramo has dropped his last two starts while allowing seven goals on 56 shots (.875 SV%). He will take on a Rangers team who have won three games in a row while outscoring their opponents 11-4.

Karri Ramo
Trouba (upper-body) will be out until February.

Trouba, who missed practice on Monday was listed as “probable” but will now apparently miss at least the next month and a half. The Jets blue line has been decimated, they head into Tuesday’s game without Trouba, Zach Bogosian and Tobias Enstrom, their three biggest minute eaters.

Jacob Trouba
Howard starts in goal for the Red Wings.

Howard stopped 24 of 26 shots in the Red Wings shootout loss to the Panthers on Friday. Despite allowing just three goals in his last two start, he has lost each of them in a shootout. Howard is 13-5-6 with a 2.14 GAA and .918 SV% on the year. Tonight he will make his second start vs. the Blue Jackets; he posted a 28-save shutout in the first meeting.

Jimmy Howard
Holtby gets the call in goal for the Capitals.

Holtby allowed two goals on 28 shots in the Capitals 4-2 win over the Lightning on Saturday. Holtby has been victorious in four of his last five starts with a 1.97 GAA and .934 SV%. Holtby will take on the Panthers in Florida tonight. He is 8-3-1 in 11 road starts this season.

Braden Holtby
Allen will start Tuesday vs. the Kings.

Allen surrendered two goals on 25 shots in the Blues’ win over the Avalanche on Saturday. Allen has won each of his last two starts with a 2.48 GAA and .906 SV%. The 24-year-old net minder gets the call with the Kings in town. He is 5-1-1 with a 2.59 GAA and .893 SV% at Scottrade Center this season.

Jake Allen
Rinne gets the nod for the Predators.

Rinne allowed just one goal on 33 shots, but was on the wrong end of a 2-0 final on Saturday vs. the Sharks. Rinne certainly can’t be to blame for the loss. He had a great road-trip, winning two of three while stopping 89 of 91 (.978 SV%) shots that he faced. Tonight the Predators will host the Bruins—Rinne is 11-2-1 with a 1.88 GAA and .928 SV%.

Pekka Rinne
Pavelec is in the 'starter's crease' this morning.

Pavelec allowed three goals on 26 shots in the Jets OT loss to the Avalanche on Thursday. Michael Hutchinson did not have his strongest game on Saturday, so it looks like it will be Pav tonight vs. Buffalo. What was once a must-start matchup has become a little less certain with the Sabres recent stretch of hot play.

Ondrej Pavelec
Raanta will start vs. the Wild.

Raanta stopped 23 of 24 shots in Sunday’s 2-1 win over the Flames. After watching Scott Darling make four straight starts, Raanta will get back-to-back starts as he takes on Minnesota tonight. He is 4-2-0 with a 1.85 GAA and .944 SV% on the season.

Antti Raanta
Andersen will make his 19th straight start.

Andersen stopped 27 of 28 shots in the Ducks win over the Jets on Saturday. He was won an impressive seven starts in a row with a 2.40 GAA and .914 SV%. He will look to keep it going tonight in Toronto. The Ducks and the Maple Leafs are two of the NHL’s hottest teams, so it should be great battle.
