No surprise, but Andersen starts for the Ducks.

Andersen stopped 26 of 27 shots in the Ducks 2-1 victory over the Coyotes on Sunday. Tonight will set a new career-high for Andersen as he makes his ninth consecutive start. He is 2-1-4 with a 2.64 GAA and .898 SV% in his previous eight outings. The Ducks 2.63 goals for over that span explains the four extra time losses for Freddie.

Frederik Andersen
Lehner starts for the Senators.

Lehner stopped 30 of 33 shots in a 3-2 loss to the Blues on Saturday afternoon. With Craig Anderson getting the call on Monday night in Detroit, it will be Lehner to face the Blues once again, this time in St. Louis. Lehner has been good for the last week, stopped 63 of 68 (.926 SV%).

Robin Lehner
Jones was first off at the Kings' morning skate.

Jones allowed two goals on 27 shots in a loss to the Stars on November 13th. The Kings have a back-to-back tonight and tomorrow, so it looks like Jones will go tonight, which leaves Jonathan Quick for the Wild tomorrow. Jones is 1-2-0 with a 1.83 GAA and .928 SV% in limited playing time this season.

Martin Jones
Smith was the first off at the Coyotes morning skate.

Smith stopped 28 of 30 shots in the Coyotes 2-1 loss to the Ducks on Sunday night. Smith has lost each of last six outings while posting a 2.86 GAA and .901 SV%. It has been a tumultuous start for the Canadian Olympian, who can’t seem to find any consistency in his game. At least tonight, he faces an Avalanche who rank 24th in scoring.

Mike Smith
Fasth starts for the Oilers.

Fasth stopped 15 of 17 shots after replacing Ben Scrivens in the Blackhawks beatdown of the Oilers on Saturday. Fasth has not been spectacular, but he has won two of his last four starts with a 2.86 GAA and. 898 SV%. The Oilers are a mess right now, so it is hard to trust Fasth in Dallas tonight.

Viktor Fasth
Bouwmeester (lower-body) will not play on Tuesday.

Bouwmeester will miss his second straight game tonight, however head coach Ken Hitchcock said the injury is not serious and if “it were a playoff game, he’d play.” After tonight the Blues are off until Friday, expect Bouwmeester to be back vs. the Oilers. Barrett Jackman will skate with Alex Pietrangelo.

Jay Bouwmeester
Green (upper-body) will not play on Wednesday.

As expected, Green will miss Wednesday’s game with an upper-body injury that he suffered on Saturday. He did not practice today so it is unclear how long Green will be sidelined. Consider him day-to-day for now.

Mike Green
Lupul (hand) will return to the Maple Leafs lineup on Wednesday.

Lupul missed the last 12 games with a broken hand that he suffered on October 28th. He struggled before the injury, scoring just two goals and one assist in nine games. He has skated on the fourth line with Trevor Smith and David Booth over the last few days, so expect him to start there tomorrow vs. Pittsburgh.

Joffrey Lupul
Hutchinson starts for the Jets.

Hutchinson stopped 21 of 22 shots in the Jets 3-1 win over the Devils last Tuesday. Hutchinson has gone 2-0-1 with an impressive 0.82 GAA, .968 SV% and one shutout in his last three starts. Despite being red-hot, Ondrej Pavelec continues to get the majority of the starts. Another strong outing tonight would go a long way in earning more starts.

Michael Hutchinson
Gorges (knee) skated with the Sabres for the second straight day.

Gorges injured his knee on November 11th and was expected to miss multiple weeks. He has missed the last five games, but being on the ice again this morning suggests that he is only about 7-10 days away from returning to the Sabres blue line.

Josh Gorges
Rinne was the first goalie off and will start vs. Los Angeles.

Rinne allowed two goals on 30 shots in the in Saturday’s shootout win over the Panthers. He continues to be absolutely scorching hot—winning seven of his last eight with a 1.86 GAA and .933 SV%. He draws a tough matchup vs. the Kings, but Rinne is a must-start in all formats and his 7-1-1 home record should ease your worries.

Pekka Rinne
Elliott starts Tuesday vs. Ottawa.

Elliott made 24 saves on 26 shots in the Blues’ 3-2 win over the Senators on Saturday afternoon. Tonight, he will get another crack at Ottawa, who are on the tail-end of a back-to-back. Given he just beat them and the fact that he has a 1.90 GAA and .927 SV% on the year, he is a must-start tonight.

Brian Elliott
Rinne expected to start for the Predators.

Pekka Rinne
Lehtonen leaves the ice first at the Stars morning skate.

Lehtonen made 37 saves on 41 shots in the Stars 5-4 win over the Kings on Saturday. He was spotted a 4-0 lead in the first 23 minutes and limped to a victory. For the Stars it doesn’t matter how he got the W, they’re just happy Lehtonen could chalk one up in the win column. November has not been pretty, winnings four of 10 starts with a 3.15 GAA and .903 SV%.

Kari Lehtonen
Bouwmeester (lower-body) not expected to play on Tuesday.

Bouwmeester, who missed Sunday’s game, is not on the ice for the Blues’ morning skate, so it looks like he will miss a second straight game tonight vs. Ottawa. Bouwmeester is not used to missing games, but it seems like he will miss his second game in the last 739 games. Carl Gunnarsson is expected to skate with Alex Pietrangelo.

Jay Bouwmeester
Looks like Hutchinson for the Jets on Tuesday.

Pirri skating on the Panthers top-line on Tuesday.

Pirri had two shots in 15:44 TOI in his return to the Panthers lineup on Monday. He centred the third line last night, but is skating with Nick Bjugstad and Jonathan Huberdeau on the Panthers’ top-line this morning. He had three goals in three games before being injured and the move to the top-line should give him more scoring opportunities. He is someone worth keeping an eye on in deep leagues.

Brandon Pirri
Bobrovsky confirmed to start for the Blue Jackets.

Bobrovsky allowed four goals on 37 shots in Saturday’s 4-2 loss to the Flyers. Since returning from a broken pinky finger, Bob has gone 1-2-1 while posting a 3.20 GAA and .916 SV%—he has faced an average of 38.75 shots over that span. He faces a Jets team who have lost four of their last five.
