Luongo allowed one goal on 22 shots after replacing Al Montoya in the Panthers’ loss in Minnesota on Sunday. The 36-year-old finished February with a 4-2-2 record, 3.01 GAA and .900 SV%.Tonight he faces a Jets team that has lost five of their last six contests.

Allen will start in Ottawa on Tuesday.
Allen allowed two goals on 34 shots in the Blues win in Carolina on Sunday. It was Allen’s first win since coming back from a knee injury and 19th of the season. Allen has gone 8-5-2 with a 2.59 GAA and .919 SV% o the road this season and tonight he faces a Senators team that has won five of their last six.

Vasilevskiy leads the Lightning onto the ice for warmups.
Vasilevskiy stopped 29 of 30 shots in the Lightning’s win over the Coyotes last Tuesday. He spent the weekend with Syracuse (AHL) but is back with the Lightning and will start tonight after Ben Bishop went on Sunday. Vasilevskiy has gone 10-5-0 with a 2.75 GAA and .910 SV% this season and draws a strong matchup against the fire-selling Maple Leafs.

The Flames rechecked Garnet Hathaway from Stockton (AHL) will make his NHL debut on Monday.

Domingue leads the Coyotes onto the ice for warmups.
Domingue allowed four goals on 33 shots in the Coyotes loss in Philadelphia on Saturday. Despite allowed three-plus goals for the fifth time in six games and riding a five-game winning streak, Domingue to start again tonight in Pittsburgh. Domingue draws a tough matchup in Pittsburgh—he is 3-6-1 with a 2.78 GAA and .915 SV% on the road this season.
Fast (illness) is not on the ice for warmups; will not play vs. Columbus.
Garrison (lower-body) will take warmups on Monday; could return depending on how he feels.
The Flames have acquired Niklas Backstrom and a 2016 sixth round pick from the Wild for David Jones.
Backstrom has not appeared in an NHL game this season and reportedly waived his no trade clause to go to Calgary in hope of playing an NHL game down the stretch. He was 5-7-3 with a 3.04 GAA and .887 SV% in 2014-15.
The Wild have acquired David Jones from the Flames for Niklas Backstrom and a 2016 sixth round pick.
Jones has 15 points (9G / 6A) in 59 games this season. He was a low-cost addition to provide the Wild with depth on the wing.

The Coyotes have reassigned Tyler Gaudet to Springfield (AHL).
Gaudet, 22, has split his season with Arizona and Springfield. Gaudet has three points (1G / 2A) in 14 games with the Coyotes and seven points (1G / 6A) in 26 games with the Falcons.

The Coyotes have recalled Craig Cunningham from Springfield (AHL).
Cunningham has spent the majority of the season with Springfield, picking up 34 points (17G / 17A) in 42 games. Cunningham has picked up one assist in 10 games with the Coyotes.
The Predators have acquired Corey Potter from the Coyotes for future considerations.
Potter, 32, has 17 points (5G / 12A) in 52 games with Springfield (AHL) this season. This is an American Hockey League trade, he will report to Milwaukee.
Pouliot (shoulder) is out long-term with a shoulder injury.
Pouliot suffered a shoulder on Sunday and could miss the remainder of the regular season. With Pouliot out, Nail Yakupov is expected to move into the top-6 on Connor McDavid’s line.

The Red Wings have recalled Jared Coreau from Grand Rapids (AHL).
Coreau, 24, will backup Jimmy Howard tonight with Petr Mrazek out with a “tender groin.” The 6-foot-six netminder has had a good season with Grand Rapids, posting a 26-10-2 with a 2.27 GAA and .928 SV%.
Mrazek is day-to-day with a "tender groin."
The Red Wings surprisingly announced that Jimmy Howard would start tonight, but we now know it’s because Mrazek is day-to-day with a minor groin injury. With Mrazek out, they have recalled Jared Coreau from Grand Rapids (AHL) to back up Howard.
Voracek (lower-body) will miss approximately two weeks.
Voracek suffered the injury on February 25th and will miss roughly two weeks. He was reportedly spotted wearing a boot, so the “lower-body” injury is expected to be foot or ankle related. With Voracek out, Sam Gagner is expected to skate in the top-six.
The Oilers have acquired Patrick Maroon from the Ducks for Martin Gernat and a 2016 fourth round pick.
Maroon, 27, has picked up just 13 points (4G / 9A) in 56 games this season after posting 34 (9G / 25A) in 71 last season. With the acquisition of Jamie McGinn, Maroon became expendable. He should get a bigger opportunity in Edmonton.

The longest suspension served was dealt to former-Detroit Red Wing David Perron at six-games after a cross-checking penalty dealt ironically against his current team in the 2024-25 season, the Ottawa Senators. Additionally, Perron was fined $148,437.48 for his actions.
