Elliott will start between the pipes for the Blues on Tuesday.

Elliott tuned aside 33 of 35 shots that the Predators threw at him in Saturday’s 2-1 loss. The loss snapped a four-game winning streak for Elliott, who will make his 10th start of the year on Tuesday. He sits at 5-3-1 on the year and should have no problem making it 6-3-1 with the last place Sabres visiting town.

Brian Elliott
Neuvirth starts on Tuesday.

Neuvirth stopped 49 of 52 shots in the Sabres’ loss to the Oilers on Saturday. He has played very well so far this year, but has been exceptional in his last three starts—Neuvirth has stopped 116 of 122 shots (.951 SV%)…Yep that is an average of 38.7 shots against per game. Expect another onslaught on Tuesday when the Sabres travel to St. Louis.

Michal Neuvirth
The Stars recalled John Klingberg from Texas (AHL) on Sunday.

Klingberg, 22, has scored four goals with eight assists (12 points) in 10 games with Texas this season. He as the Stars fifth round selection (131st overall) in 2010, but has yet to make an NHL appearance. This is his first full year in North America, he had 28 points (11G / 17A) in 50 games with Frolunda HC in Sweden last year.

John Klingberg
Havlat (lower-body) will not play on Monday.

Havlat will miss his ninth straight game with a lower-body injury he suffered on October 21st. He had been practicing lately, so it looked as if he might return, but Jordin Tootoo will replace him tonight in Boston.

Martin Havlat
Rene Bourque has cleared waivers and will be assigned to Hamilton (AHL).

Bourque has just two assists with a minus-9 rating in 13 games this season. He served as a healthy scratch in the Canadiens last two games, before being placed on waivers on Sunday. He carries a $3.33M cap hit (per nhlnumbers.com), which likely played a huge factor in why he was not claimed by another team.

Rene Bourque
Datsyuk (groin) practiced on Monday morning.

Datsyuk missed the Red Wings last two games with a groin injury that he suffered in Friday’s game day skate. The Wings are off until Friday so Datsyuk has four days to recover, so the team is expecting him back Friday or Sunday.

Pavel Datsyuk
Spurgeon (shoulder) is skating in a no-contact jersey.

Spurgeon has missed the last four games with a shoulder injury that he suffered on October 30th. The Wild have not given many details on Spurgeon’s injury, but his return to the ice this morning suggests that he is not that far from a return. However, the Wild have a lot of capable NHL defensemen, so they won't rush Spurgeon.

Jared Spurgeon
Parise (concussion) is skating in a no-contact sweater this morning.

Parise has missed the last two games with a concussion he suffered last Tuesday vs. the Penguins. It is hard to pinpoint a return when you are dealing with concussions, but it is a good sign that he is back on the ice this morning. The Wild have four games this week and there is a chance he could be back for the back-to-back this weekend.

Zach Parise
Cammalleri (neck) returns to the Devils lineup on Monday.

Cammalleri missed the last six games with a neck injury that was suffered on October 25th. He will return on the Devils top-line with Travis Zajac and Jaromir Jagr. In a quiet night in the NHL, get Cammalleri in your daily league lineups. He has five goals and two assists in eight game this season.

Michael Cammalleri
Boychuk (lower-body) did not practice Monday; but might play Tuesday.

Despite missing practice on Monday, head coach Jack Capuano said Boychuk might be available for Tuesday’s clash with the Avalanche. Boychuk missed Sunday’s game with what is believed to be a knee injury. His potential availability for tomorrow is a positive sign that the injury is not serious. Consider Boychuk day-to-day.

Johnny Boychuk
Rask will start vs. the Devils.

Rask gave up two goals on 26 shots in the Bruins’ 5-2 win over the Oilers on Thursday. Rask has now won three in a row and five of his last six, while posting a 2.16 GAA and .929 SV%. He is a must-start against a .500 Devils team who have lost three in a row.

Tuukka Rask
Oshie (concussion) is skating in a no-contact sweater this morning.

This is the first time that Oshie has skated since suffering a concussion on October 28th. He has missed the last six games and is reportedly not very close to returning. Being back at practice is a good sign that he is recovering, but he needs to shed the no-contact jersey before a return is can be considered close.

T.J. Oshie
Baertschi (illness) will not play on Monday.

Baertschi has not recorded a point while posting a minus-4 rating and six shots in four games during his recall. With Baertschi out, either Brian McGrattan or the recently recalled Max Reinhart will move into the lineup. Consider Baertschi day-to-day.

Sven Baertschi
