Elliott stopped 29 of 30 shots in the Blues win in Detroit on Wednesday. Elliott has won three consecutive games and has gone 5-1-2 with a 2.24 GAA and .932 SV% in January. Elliott has been excellent with Jake Allen sidelined. Tonight he’ll face an Avalanche team that has won three of four despite averaging just 2.00 goals per game.

Brian Elliott
Comeau (undisclosed) is listed as questionable for Friday.

Comeau’s wife is expecting so it remains to be seen if Comeau will be in the lineup tonight. If he cannot play, Chris Wagner will play centre and Mikhail Grigorenko will shift to the wing. Consider Comeau a game-time decision.

Blake Comeau
Johnson (knee) will not play on Friday; will return to the lineup on Saturday.

Johnson has missed the last eight games with a knee injury, but will wait in more day before returning to the Avs’ blueline. Johnson will play Saturday and comes in with 16 points (7G / 9A) in 40 games this season.

Erik Johnson
Kunitz (undisclosed) will be a game-time decision on Saturday.

Kunitz left Thursday’s game after a collision with Claude Giroux and missed Friday’s practice, so his status for Saturday’s game is unclear. Beau Bennett skated in Kunitz’s spot in practice, but it remains to be seen if he will actually return and play there on Saturday.

Chris Kunitz
Sekac is expected to make his Blackhawks debut on Friday.

Sekac was acquired from Anaheim on Thursday and is expected to play on Friday. Sekac had one goal in one game with San Diego (AHL) and three points (1G / 2A) in 22 games with the Ducks this year. He is expected to start his Blackhawks’ career on the fourth line.

Jiri Sekac
Darling is expected to start on Friday.

James Reimer

Hammond has gone 3-4-2 with a 2.75 GAA and .912 SV% this season and tonight he’ll face the Islanders on home ice. The Habs are struggling mightily right now and continue to fall in the standings. However, tonight’s matchup offers some hope. Toronto has lost six of their last seven while averaging just 1.14 goals per game.

Mike Condon
The Oilers have recalled Griffin Reinhart from Bakersfield (AHL).

Reinhart failed to record a point in 12 games with the Oilers earlier in the season. In 14 games with Bakersfield, he had five points (1G / 4A). He is expected to be in the lineup on Saturday with Brandon Davidson out.
