Hertl has been dropped to the Sharks' third line.

The Sharks have shaken up all of their forwards lines ahead of tonight's game in Boston. One of the moves has Hertl going to the third line to play with James Sheppard and Andrew Desjardins, which is obviously a huge downgrade from Joe Thornton. Hertl has two goals and a plus-4 rating through six games.

Tomas Hertl
Girardi (leg) will be a game-time decision on Tuesday.

Rangers head coach Alain Vigneault did not shed any light on if Girardi would play tonight or not. He would only divulge that if Girardi can't play, that Mike Kostka would slide into the lineup. We probably won't hear if he will play until pre-game warmups.

The Lightning have recalled Michael Blunden from Syracuse (AHL).

Ryan Callahan was injured in Monday's game, so recalling Blunden likely means that Callahan will not play on Tuesday vs. the Flames. Blunden has two goals and one assist in four games with Syracuse in his first year with the Lightning organization.

Mike Blunden
Crawford, who is expected to start tonight is not at the Blackhawks morning skate.

The Blackahwks announced on Monday that Crawford was starting on Tuesday, but his absence from the morning skate makes us wonder if something may have happened to him. We will get a full update after the morning skate.

Corey Crawford
Lehtonen was the first goalie off of the ice at Stars' practice.

Lehtonen allowed six goals on 37 shots in a OT loss to the Flyers on Saturday. It snapped his modest two-game winning streak and was the first time he allowed more than two goals in a game this season. Tonight, it looks like he will face a Canucks team he was 3-0-0 with a 1.00 GAA and .971 SV% against last year.

Kari Lehtonen
Girardi (leg) is on the ice for the Rangers optional morning skate.

Girardi was considered questionable for tonight's game after getting stitches in his leg on Sunday. Head coach Alain Vigneault is expected to address the media shortly, so we will learn Girardi's status for tonight at that time.

Dan Girardi
Fisher (Achilles) is skating in a no-contact jersey.

This is the first time that Fisher has skated with his teammates since rupturing his Achilles in a training session this summer. He was expected to miss 4-6 months and mid-November will mark the four month point, so it looks like he is on track to return at the front end of that timetable.

Mike Fisher
Bernier starts in goal vs. the Islanders.

Bernier kept the Leafs in Satruday's contest in Detroit, stopping 31 straight shots, before Henrik Zetterbeg blasted one by him with nine seconds left in Overtime. It was by far his best game of the season and he will look to carry it into tonight's meeting with the up-start Islanders.

Jonathan Bernier
Grabovski (concussion) skated on Tuesday and is listed as day-to-day.

Grabovski is reportedly feeling much better after waking up with concussion-like symptoms last Friday. He won't play vs. the Maple Leafs tonight, but could play Thursday against the Bruins. Monitor his status throughout the week.

Mikhail Grabovski
Visnovsky (upper-body) will be a game-time decision on Tuesday.

Visnovsky has not played a game this season and is coming off of a season where he played just 24 games. But, he is a player that will be a big help to an Islanders power-play that is already rolling in the early going. They are a more dangerous team with Vis in the lineup. Monitor his status near the start of warmups (6:30 pm ET).

Lubomir Visnovsky
Halak will be in goal for the Islanders on Tuesday.

Halak allowed two goals on 37 shots in the Isles 3-1 loss to the Penguins on Saturday. It was Halak's first loss of the season, but was still a great outing against a dangerous Pens offence. Tonight, he will face the Maple Leafs having gone 3-1-0 with a 2.71 GAA and .913 SV% though four starts.

Jaroslav Halak
Rask was the first goalie off of the ice at the Bruins morning skate.

Tonight will mark Rask's first start since last Thursday when he was yanked in the third vs. Montreal after allowed five goals on 23 shots. It has not been an ideal start to the season for Rask or the Bruins and things will not be easy on them tonight with the San Jose Sharks in town. That said, Rask is elite and does not belong on your bench.

Tuukka Rask
Griffith is back on the Bruins top-line.

Griffith was recalled on Monday after spending the weekend in Providence (AHL) and will play on the top-line with David Krejci and Milan Lucic tonight vs. San Jose. He has no points, a minus-2 rating and four shots in three games with the Bruins this season.

Seth Griffith
Price will start on Tuesday vs. the Red Wings.

Price allowed two goals on 34 shots in a 3-2 win over the Avalanche on Saturday night. It was Price's second straight win and fourth of the season as he moved to 4-1-0 with a 3.38 GAA and .890 SV%. Tonight, he faces a Detroit team who are 25th in scoring with just 2.20 G/PG, but who are holding opponents to just 1.40 G/PG (2nd in NHL).

Carey Price
The Penguins assign Derrick Pouliot to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (AHL).

Pouliot, 20, was selected eight overall by the Penguins in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft. The young defenseman has been rehabbing after offseason shoulder surgery and his return to the AHL likely means that he is ready to get back to playing hockey. This will be his first year of professional hockey after wrapping up his fourth year of juniors with 70 points (17G / 53A) in 58 games in 2013-14.

Derrick Pouliot
Murray (knee) will travel with the team to California.

Murray has not played this season but has been practicing with the team for nearly two weeks, which is a great sign that he is nearing his season debut. Traveling with the team leaves the possibility that the young defenseman will play on the road-trip, but that is not a guarantee at this point.

Ryan Murray
Callahan left Monday's game with a lower-body injury and did not return.

Callahan played just 10:50 compared to his average of 17:45 a night on Monday. The Lightning are back in action on Tuesday in the second game of a back-to-back, so there is a chance that Callahan will not be available; depending on the severity of the injury. If he can't go then there is an open spot on the Lightning top-line next to Steven Stamkos, could it be filled by Jonathan Drouin in his second NHL game? We shall see.
