Kochetkov (undisclosed) left Wednesday's game vs. Utah early and did not return.

Kochetkov did not finish Wednesday's game against Utah HC, leaving the contest after allowing three goals on 18 shots (.833 SV%), due to an undisclosed injury. The Hurricanes do not practice on Thursday so an update will likely not be available until Friday. With Frederik Andersen (lower body) already sidelined, the Hurricanes might have to rely on Spencer Martin to tend the twine in the interim if Kochetkov's injury lingers.

Pyotr Kochetkov

With the score tied 2-2, Kuemper exited Wednesday's game against the Colorado Avalanche early in the third period. He was replaced by David Rittich, and the Kings ultimately lost the game 4-2. Luckily for Hill, he's got a great chance of getting back in the win column on Wednesday with Vegas entering action as huge favourites at -225.

Adin Hill
Dostal will start against the Golden Knights on Wednesday.

The Ducks will turn back to Dostal tonight despite a stellar season debut from John Gibson on Sunday. Despite the rough patch, the 24-year-old netminder still owns a .922 SV% and a 2.73 GAA on the season. He'll need to be at his best on Wednesday with the Ducks being +185 home underdogs against the Golden Knights.

The 25-year-old Kochetkov has been solid for the Hurricanes this season, especially stepping up in the absence of Frederik Andersen (lower body), posting a .911 SV% during a seven-game winning streak. The Hurricanes enter Wednesday's contest as sizeable -197 road favorites against the Utah Hockey Club.

Simon Benoit will be a healthy scratch, allowing Hakanpaa to draw into the lineup.

Jani Hakanpaa
