Setoguchi will be a healthy scratch on Friday.

Setoguchi made his Flames debut on October 11 and has yet to record a point with a minus-2 rating in his first three games with the Flames. Josh Jooris will replace Setoguchi in the Flames top-6 with Jiri Hudler and Sean Monahan.

Devin Setoguchi
The Oilers have sent Darnell Nurse back to the OHL.

Nurse had no points with a minus-2 rating and two shots in his first two NHL games. The 19-year-old will get one more year of junior and have a chance to stick with the Oilers full-time next season. He had 13 goals with 37 assists (50 points) in 64 games with Sault Ste. Marie (OHL) last season.

Darnell Nurse
Luongo will start Friday as expected.

Luongo stopped 21 of 22 shots, but it was not enough earn the W on Tuesday vs. the Senators. The Panthers offence fired 30 shots at Craig Anderson, but could not get one by him. Florida's sub-par offence was a fear when drafting Luongo. So far they have just three goals in three games, but something should give on Friday vs. a weak Sabres squad.

Roberto Luongo
The Hurricanes have sent Brody Sutter to Charlotte (AHL).

Sutter, 23, made his NHL debut on Thursday in Carolina’s 2-1 shootout loss at Madison Square Garden against the New York Rangers. He is in his third full professional season and has played in all three of Charlotte’s games thus far this year.

Brody Sutter
The Hurricanes have sent Patrick Brown to Charlotte (AHL).

Brown, 22, made his NHL debut with Carolina on Opening Night, Oct. 10, and has averaged 9:37 of ice time while playing in all four of the Hurricanes’ games this season. In 2013-14, he scored 15 goals and earned 15 assists (30 points) in 40 games during his senior season at Boston College.

Patrick Brown
Ramo will start in goal for the Flames.

The Flames have been alternating Ramo and Jonas Hiller to this point and it is Ramo's turn in the rotation. He has won each of his first two starts while posting a 1.92 GAA and .934 SV%. Ramo has enjoyed a great start and he will look to keep things rolling tonight against a shorthanded Blue Jackets team

Karri Ramo
Skinner (concussion) has been removed from injured reserve.

Skinner missed his fourth straight game after suffering a concussion in the preseason, but the Hurricanes are off until Tuesday so he has time to rest and will should be in the lineup against the Jets. As a corresponding roster move, the sent Brody Sutter and Patrick Brown back to the AHL.

Jeff Skinner
Rinne is the Predators projected starter.

Rinne gave up two goals on 28 shots in the Predators 3-2 shootout loss to the Flames on Tuesday. The loss snapped a modest two-game winning streak for Rinne, but it has been an excellent start to the year. He has registered a 1.62 GAA and .924 SV% in his first three starts and draws a nice matchup tonight vs. the Jets.

Pekka Rinne
McElhinney starts for the Blue Jackets on Saturday.

McElhinney went 10-11-1 with a 2.70 GAA and .909 SV% with Columbus last season. He won't get many starts behind Sergei Bobrovsky but he is a capable backup worth a spot-start when you're in a pinch. He has a solid matchup against the Senators on Saturday.

Curtis McElhinney
Robidas will be a healthy scratch on Friday.

Jake Gardiner will be back in the Maple Leafs lineup on Friday, so Robidas will take a seat. The Leafs needed to get Gardiner back in the lineup soon and with the speedy Red Wings in town, sitting Robidas probably make sense.

Stephane Robidas
Gardiner will be back in the Leafs' lineup on Friday.

Gardiner has been a healthy scratch in the Maple Leafs last two games, but he will be back in the lineup tonight, paired with Morgan Rielly. Stephane Robidas is expected to take a seat with Gardiner returning. The Red Wings are a really fast team so getting Gardiner's foot speed is a huge upgrade from Robidas skating.

Jake Gardiner
Lupul (lower-body) will play on Friday.

After missing Thursday's practice, Lupul was back on the ice this morning and will play vs. the Red Wings tonight. Lupul has two goals and one assist in four games this season. Lupul being active means Brandon Kozun goes back to the fourth line.

Joffrey Lupul
Dupuis (upper-body) is skating this morning.

Less than 24 hours after Dupuis was stretchered off of the ice after being hit by a puck, Dupuis is skating and stick handling this morning. He reportedly looks as if he was not even injured last night, which is a great sign after a scary incident. Expect an update on Dupuis later today.

Pascal Dupuis
Enroth will be in goal for the Sabres on Friday.

Enroth stopped 22 of 25 shots in a 4-3 shootout win over the Hurricanes on Tuesday. It was Enroth's and the Sabres' first win of the season and he is already a quarter of the way to his win total (4) from last season. He has a 3.89 GAA and .893 SV% heading into tonight's clash with the Panthers.

Jhonas Enroth
Bobrovsky starts in goal for the Blue Jackets.

Bobrovsky allowed three goals on 34 shots in a loss to the Stars on Tuesday. It was his first loss of the season, but it was an otherwise decent night. Tonight, he will make his fourth straight start tonight and he enters play with a 2.01 GAA and .927 SV% in his first three outings. He draws a good matchup tonight with the Flames in town.

Sergei Bobrovsky
The Sharks have assigned James Sheppard (knee) to Worcester (AHL) for a conditioning stint.

Sheppard was skating with the Sharks and nearing a return from his knee injury, but San Jose has sent him down to get him back into game-shape, before he returns to the lineup. There is no word on who will be headed back to the minors when Sheppard is healthy, but it will likely be Chris Tierney.

James Sheppard
Lupul (lower-body) is on the ice for the Maple Leafs' morning skate.

Lupul missed Thursday's practice and his status for tonight's game was in doubt, but his participation this morning is a good sign that he should be available tonight. We will get a full update after the morning skate.
